Dave and the team at American Deck are the clearly the best in the business, but don't take my word for it. The county inspector stopped by to approve the final build and stated that it was some of the best work he'd seen! The crews from Amdeck are courteous, and they show up on schedule. When designing the deck, you can choose from a seemingly endless array of composite or wood surfaces, railing options, and lighting at their Monkton showhouse. They also do hardscapes (walkways, retaining walls, etc). You just can't go wrong with them at any budget level. Highly recommend them with an invisible Sixth star.

We had American Deck & Patio remove the old deck that was rotting and replace it with a new larger deck. They did a fine job and completed it on time. The work crew always cleaned up the work area at the end of each day which we thought was quiet impressive. Overall we are very happy with then end result

The quality of the project, from initial discussion to design and construction went great. The right amount of recommendations without the sales pressure. And very importantly - finished on-time and within budget.

This was a 2nd story (in the rear of the house) deck with screened in porch with skylights and sliding windows making it a 3-4 season room.
The team also built our new front porch.

American Deck once again came through. From concept to completion, Andy Lombardo and his team made everything happen like clockwork. The permit and inspection process was seamless, and we laud American Deck for working during some of the coldest months of the winter.

The original deck was built in 2017 -- also by American Deck -- and was engineered to support a possible addition of a porch/sunroom at a later date. When we made the decision to add the porch with Sunspace vinyl windows, we wanted as much material re-use as possible and Andy came up with a unique design that allowed a "notch-out" in one corner of the new structure to eliminate the need for constructing a "landing" at the top of the stairs to meet Howard County code requirements. Andy also guided us through some enhancements (like radiant heaters and a whiz-bang fan) that have made the space a true "3-season" addition.

We couldn't be happier with our new "outdoor" space!

Andy Lombardo and American Deck and Patio was one of the best experiences I've had working with a contractor. Andy is a complete professional and consistently demonstrated tremendous attention to detail.

They executed this large project flawlessly and provided helpful recommendations throughout the design process. We couldn't be happier with the final product.

The pictures speak for themselves. Whether you're tackling a big or small project, this should be your go-to company. Andy was a big reason we selected AMdeck from multiple other competitors, but everyone else we worked with from AMdeck was great also.

American Deck and Patio built a major addition to our house (40' x 14'), open deck and sunroom in Howard County, MD. They did an amazing job at all steps, from the design to the schedule, and communicated well along the way. There were no surprises! We appreciated the expertise of the team, their attention to detail, and their honesty. Overall it was an amazing experience for us, and we spend most of every day in our new space. I highly recommend them to anyone looking to do any style of deck.
