The services provided by Able Electric were awesome. The scheduler was very nice, and accommodating. The technician, Stephen, was very professional and knowledgeable. He was able to pinpoint the issue, provided me with options, and completed the job within a reasonable time. I would definitely recommend them!

This an updated review. I had some initial concerns and was pleasantly surprised when the the owner, Doug called me to discuss my experience. First let me say problem of quirky on/off of my curio cabinet light was fixed. It seems the problem is poor capacitance in my finger when touching the hinge on cabinet which is suppose to turn on light and the Electrician pointed out simple alternative way to get light on. My concern was that full charge for coming out was billed despite simple fix that took about 15 minutes. This is where Doug's great customer service kicked in. He apologized and said they do have reduced fee for simple fixes and we agreed on a very satisfactory credit to account. Take away is if you have concern: before doing review BETTER CALL DOUG!

Karen was diligent in keeping me informed of every detail. From the time the estimator will arrive, the work being done, to when the inspector will arrive.

Steve, the electrician, was very knowledgeable, worked hard and he cleaned up every time he was here.

I would have given 5 stars if it was not for your estimator, Keith. He came out and quoted a price of $695. When Steve came to do the work, he realized there was more to be done. A new panel & wiring to be done. Keith had to come back out for another estimate, which costed $3,000 more. He should have been noticed the work needed to be done during the first estimate. Then we had to schedule another 2 days to get the work completed. This was a complete waste of our time, having to take multiple days off for this project. Not sure if this is how you run your business; missing important information on the estimate, having the electrician come out to say more work needs to be done, then another over expensive estimate to complete the work. If I was not happy with the work Steve has done, I would be contacting the Better Business Bureau to inform them of the way you run your business.

Josh came out and installed an EV charger circuit in my home and did a great job, hung around while I tested it out and helped me understand the differences between a couple charger options. I’m highly satisfied with Steve’s work from Able Electrical. He came right on time, was very pleasant, kind, and highly professional. I have been having multiple electrical issues and with his high problem-solving skills, vigilance, perseverance, and patience he was able to solve all of them one by one, all in one visit. Thank you Steve for a job well done!
Here is more technical info: I had no power in my kitchen for a while. Steve troubleshoot all electrical outlet in the kitchen to find the lost neutral and reversed outlet that was not installed correctly. Also part of the living room didn’t have electricity. Steve troubleshoot it to find a lost neutral in the living room too. He also took the time to replace all outlets as per my request to comply with PG County regulations.
