Mikael is a very experienced and knowledgeable salesman. He was very helpful as we chose our quartz. We did hit a kink midway but the team pulled us through and we love our new countertops.

FRAUDULENT!!! DO NOT USE GRANITE WORKS!!!!

We used them for a countertop for our kitchen. We went out and picked the slab we wanted (which was honed on one side and polished on the other). We EXPLICITLY told Snell at the front office and wrote on the paperwork that we wanted the honed side of the countertop on top. They were supposed to come measure our kitchen on a Friday, never called, never showed up. We waited around for hours waiting for them, finally called and they said they’d come on Monday. They came and measured, ended up measuring incorrectly and had to remeasure days later (wasting our time and our contractor’s time). They came to install and after they left and we saw the countertop we realized they had installed it with the polished side up. We called and they said they would figure out how they could fix this issue. After not hearing from them for 5 days, we had to find alternate plans to get it fixed as to not delay our construction schedule. a counter surface specialist came and honed the countertop for $775. When Granite Works got around to calling us back, we told them we had to hire a third party to hone the countertops. We were in the midst of disputing the third and final payment, as we did not feel we should pay the full remaining amount considering the absolute horrible experience we had already endured, the terrible communication, and the fact that we had to have it repaired by someone else for $775. We offered to pay the remainder minus the $775. All they would offer us was a $200 credit!!!!!! After all of the anguish, a $200 discount!! In the midst of this back and forth (keep in mind that for the last two payments we had to sign off to trigger the payment from releasing from our account), we woke up on Christmas day to seeing that they had TAKEN the money unauthorized from our account! Absolutely disgusting, unethical behavior!!! Calling them was no help as they didn’t care one bit and completely backed their decision to snatch our money out of our account. Unfortunately, we used a bank account instead of a credit card ( because they don’t take credit cards) so we were not able to get our money back. Even worse, we are out the final payment plus the $775 extra.

Our contractor and our designer said they’ve never seen something like this before and will NEVER be using or recommending Granite Works again.

Granite Works did a marvelous job with our townhome's kitchen and bath renovation. We had a set budget and were quite unsure how much value for our money we would get when working with contractors (first time). Their estimating process was seamless, and although not the cheapest estimates we got, their portfolio and reassurance gave us the confidence to proceed with them, given the quality of their work shown. They guided us through the process from design to picking out finishes and completed the project on time. As an aside, I also appreciate the post-job follow-up from the owner. We've since moved across the country, and we have consulted with them on future projects remotely. He was kind enough to offer remote design consultations from his company. I value excellent customer service, and the fact it does not stop when we're no longer paying customers speaks volumes. This high-touch approach makes it relatively easy for me to recommend Granite Works, and I look forward to using them for future projects in the Baltimore area.

I HIGHLY recommend Granite Works!! They made a huge difference in the way my project was completed. I visited their showroom and walked their entire inventory of countertops slabs and cabinet options. I selected the exact countertop slab and cabinets that I wanted. The very next day, they came out and measured the space in my property and gave me advice about how to maximize countertop space based on my kitchen's layout. Within a few days, they sent over complete 3D designs and a floorplan diagram comfirmimg that every cabinet I wanted would fit nicely in the space. They delivered everything and handled the entire installation directly. Their prices were reasonable and the quality of their pwork was top-tier! The team was very professional, and on-time. My wife and I absolutely love the results for our kitchen. Just awesome.
