I have been to a number of Jorgensen designed properties and continue to find myself struck by how each one is so thoughtfully appointed. It's evident that Mark and his crew know what they are doing and they know how to do it exceptionally well. The attention to detail and the level of care that has clearly gone into each job lends a person that feeling of whimsy when you are in a place that is both beautifully designed and yet, welcoming and natural. It makes you want to stay for awhile. Through visiting these properties, I've met Mark several times and have consistently been impressed by him, not only because of the work his company is doing, but also because of his quality of character. They'll be the first I'll call for future projects!

Seeing several Jorgensen Landscaping trucks at the Coastal Maine Botanical Garden's caught my eye several years ago. I've kept them in mind when mulling over a project at my home, knowing that they do quality work from large projects to fall/spring clean ups put me at ease.

If you're trying to reach Mark, who seems to do it all, and maintains a regular presence on job sites, I've found it's easiest to reach him between 5:30/6 in the morning when I can usually catch him at his desk.

While Jorgensen does a great job all around, I believe their stonework is second to none. I find myself marveling at the wall and steps he put in when I drink my morning coffee, and vistors always (and I mean always) compliment the stonework when they arrive at my home the first time.

I do have to say that I had an unrelated problem with finding a contractor to fix something (Jorgensen didn't do this work for me), and when I called looking for a recommendation he of course did, but then he even followed up to make sure the problem was resloved which I really appreciated.

Jorgensen's does all of the landscaping and snow removal for the condo complex where I live, and I've always been impressed with them. They're here by 8:30am the morning after every snowstorm and do a speedy, but very thorough job of cleaning the parking lot, sidewalks and pathways. Throughout the warmer months, they are consistently coming to tend to the grass, blow leaves, etc, to keep the area looking nice. All of the employees I've interacted with (though I try to stay out of there way when they're working) have been very pleasant as well!

I've known Mark for a couple of years now, as he's my landlord and neighbor and he does a wonderful job organizing our spring and fall clean up. He's even brought a couple plants that weren't thriving previously to our residence knowing we like to rescue plants as my partner enjoys tending the garden.
I've learned bits of his community contributions in the past year, whether he is donating masks to a local assisted living home or funding and decorating the gazebo in library park for the holidays, this is a man and business that you can count on.
