We have their system for smoke and security, and have insane amounts of false positives. Multiple times a week we get disconnect errors, false smoke alarm triggers, and false tamper warnings. Nobody who comes to diagnose seems equipped or empowered to do more than swap batteries or replace a sensor (in a bad placement!) with an identically flaky and terrible sensor. Would love to know what their average and target false positive rates are; ours is truly absurd.

Very responsive dealing with an alarm system that is old (2006) and needing replacement. We have been long time customers for monitoring, inspections and repair. The transition from Protection Professional to Cunningham Security was a bit of a dip with the phone service being not great. But since we have a long term friendly relationship with the staff and regular contacts to call the service has always been great. WHCondos, Portland

When Hook, Line and Security sold to Cunningham the service went downhill sharply. We’ve have issues that the company was NEVER able to talk us through, they never sent anyone here to fix our issue.

But, if you think an ALARM company that is unavailable to take a call at 1:49pm on a Wednesday is reasonable customer service, Cunningham is the company for you.

Honestly, my intention for contacting them was not to take my business elsewhere, but after this, I certainly am. An alarm company should answer their phones during the day in the middle of the week.
