Given a quote went up in a week. Communication was rough at best!
Then came the install. Installer said the template guy messed up. I come into the room and they are cutting into my walls. They removed Sheetrock behind most of my the counter top space. Exterior wall!
They installed the counters crooked and off set. A tech came to fix the install and we learned they didn’t even attach some of the counters. But really couldn’t fix much.
Would not recommend anyone use this place. So much more too! They did give 200 dollar discount to make up for. Ugh.

Second countertop job with K&D. Focus on customer service is excellent. Our mini kitchen had totally out of square walls and we made a mid installation cabinet change, but they soldiered through it all. Great outfit to work with.

K&D Countertops has been great to work with. I placed an order and then had to make changes because my customer changed his mind. It was no problem from K&D. Great prices, too!

I have used K&D for three projects, two bath and a kitchen. I loved the variety, the pricing, and the guys who did the installs were great. I will use them every time.

We had a pretty straight forward and smooth countertop installation through K&D. They were clear up front what we needed to do beforehand - remove existing countertops and ensure a level surface for the new ones to lay on. Pricing didn't change during the process, they were on time with their appointments, and the resulting countertops were cut nicely with care taken in their appearance (excellent veining on island, good placement of seam, etc). It seems some people in these reviews expect them to do more contracting work, however as I said they told us what was in their scope and what we would need to do ourselves. Would recommend!

It’s actually sad and painful to write a negative review. There are actual PEOPLE involved. So, first off, let me say that there is nothing personal about this; it’s strictly professional.
My wife and I drove 20 miles and walked into the store. We were not greeted. We had to find someone—a disinterested woman in an office—-and we spoke to her about our possible design ideas for our kitchen peninsula and that we were interested in using quartz for our countertop. We informed her that we had an area of 3x8 feet. This was the moment when I knew we had wasted our time—she might as well have said “NEXT!” I’m thinking...apparently, our “small potatoes” money isn’t good enough for this place of business. Still, at the woman’s suggestion, we looked through the vast stockpile of remnants that were displayed outside. My wife and I leafed through and found a number of possible quartz candidates and furthered our inquiry with the woman. She informed us that she would have to let us know—by email—about the availability and pricing. It took well over two weeks for her to reach out to us with the same information—basically she still did not know if the remnant was available or what the price would be? So...still at square-one. This was in the winter. It’s May now. No one from K&D followed up or reached out. Maybe business is booming? Maybe they can’t be bothered with a sale and installation of <50 sq. ft. of quartz? Maybe they’re plain lazy? Maybe cabin fever? Maybe the woman profiled us because of our casual clothes and mistook us for stoner hobos. Who knows?? It makes no difference to me. It’s simply disrespectful. If I treated any of my clients like this I wouldn’t expect them to want to do business with me. We are making arrangements with another vendor and are completely satisfied—it will end up taking the same amount of time—start to finish—as it took for K&D to write me an email—now THAT is laughable!! My advice to anyone: if you’re in the market for a new quality countertop and you plan to drive 20 miles... and you value your time... and you want to have a serious discussion with a helpful and genuinely concerned professional, don’t bother with K&D.

This was very close to a one-star review based on the experience with our sales rep leading up to the countertop install. One week before the installation, we were sent a picture of our granite and it looked nothing like what we had picked out and did not match our plans for our kitchen.
When I pressed, I was told a couple stories about what had happened to the granite, but we had never been never notified at any point along the way. The sales rep was not very understanding of our situation and did nothing to try to make it right. Instead, she began employing sales tactics that would have been more appropriate at a used car dealership.
I got so fed up with the lack of help that I eventually spoke with the manager, Leah, who listened to my situation, acknowledged the mistake on their end, and actually worked to make it right. THAT is customer service. You don't just ignore your mistake and expect the customer to bear the entire burden. In the end, we were able to get a fair deal on another slab of granite and still have it installed as scheduled. The granite is absolutely beautiful and I'm grateful that Leah was able to turn the experience into a positive one for us.

Leah at K and D was outstanding. Kind, patient and capable. We had a problem with a business that dropped off a soapstone vanity top for K and D to prepare for installment. The business was not following thru with payment to and pickup from K and D and then delivery to us. As they had promised.
It was a stressful and uncaring circumstance by the business we had purchased the vanity from. We finally had to pay for the work directly to K and D and with Leah at the helm the issue was resolved and K and D made sure the vanity top was delivered to our home.
The two young men that delivered it were polite, efficient and careful with our piece.
As far as we are concerned this business is at the front of the line with service and follow through. It is refreshing in this day and age to put your trust in someone/business and see that the job is done and done well.

I was almost ready to go forward with a big box store for my kitchen and bath counter tops and decided to check out K&D and very glad I did.
Their selection in the price range I wanted was much greater and the granite I chose was almost $20 a sq ft less than HD. I was also able to score a remnant of marble for the smaller counter top at a great price. Everything was done in approximately 9 business days and everything looks excellent. The big box store had a 4-6 week time frame. I worked with Tyler and he was great. Friendly, knowledgeable and never made me feel rushed. I would recommend them and will use them again.
