I've used these people twice now for restoration projects and both final products were expertly done. Chris Mathewson and his team do outstanding work. I'll certainly use them again for my future products, and I'll enthusiastically recommend them to my family and friends.

This is the best place for upholstery you can find. They really helped when I ran into issues and couldn't get my couch cushions for several months. Finished product made my couch like a new one!! Used for several projects, always pleased. Nice, nice people.

We had six dining room chairs reupholstered recently. Chris was very upfront with pricing and guaranteed our satisfaction with his work. The work was completed way faster than we expected. His pricing was far less than I had thought it would be. The chairs actually look better than new. Attention to detail was perfect. WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!!!!!

I am very pleased with my experience with Mathewson Upholster.
Chris assisted me when I chose sample books so that I could more easily find fabric that would reflect the year and style of the settees made in the early 1950s. Chris made arrangements to pick up the settees prior to the initiation of the Stay at Home order. The finish date was right on point. Rob and Alan, the men that picked up and dropped off the settees, were professional and courteous. They willingly moved furniture so the settees would fit in the living room.
The settees are beautiful. They needed to be repaired as the frames were broken. All four of the cushions had to be replaced. they were 're-stuffed'. They are so comfortable and support my back. Even the wooden feet were refinished but only after Chris called to check with me first.
And he made keepsake pillows using the original fabric that my grandmother had chosen. In addition, I was given a panel of the original fabric that was salvageable as well as the left over material not used in the recovering the settees.
I do not hesitate in the least to highly recommend Mathewson Upholstery. I have not one complaint!
Thank you Chris, Alan, and Rob for making this a joyful and memorable experience!
