I cannot praise the staff at the Kentwood, Michigan Floor & Decore enough. Every department is top notch! I really appreciate the level of professionalism that I receive every time I stop in their store. I really have too give special accolades to the entire store for so gracefully dealing with the world wide internet outage today. Every member went above and beyond to help every customer during the time of systemic shutdowns.

I will always do my business with this store verses other local suppliers.

We were greeted by an employee who sent us to the right place. Then once there another employee Jasmine came up and helped us through every step. She was very helpful and knew her tile! She was excellent. Even after she brought us up to pay, she brought our material out to our car and loaded it for us. Excellent customer service. Loved how clean and laid out the store was also. It's been about a month so I feel refreshed enough to talk about my short experience working for F&D-
1) I was *accused of time theft* for reading the news while cashiering when there were no customers, an extremely serious accusation for a company who has settled a class action lawsuit for time shaving
2) They have a sign up at the front specifically requesting people not tip, which always rubbed me the wrong way. Disrespectful towards employees to ward off supplemental income.
3) Management has favorites, and will speak disrespectfully of other employees with said employee present
4) Coworkers are otherwise amazing, everyone is lovely, watch out for Jeremy because he's a narc and a gossip. Otherwise still a lovely human.

Really it's a great place to work, there's just a weirdo egomaniacal manager who wants to be a cop

Far and away the best place for buying flooring! J.D. was incredibly helpful in talking us through all of our options and helping us choose a flooring that worked best for the unique needs of our 1890’s farmhouse. Each visit we were greeted by friendly and accommodating staff and the whole store is clean, open, and beautifully laid out. I took a quick stroll through the bathroom section and had to stop because they were too pretty. ? I can’t recommend this store enough. 10/10 - might move in.

I ordered 4 pallets of materials - large tile and all the supplies. After more than two weeks, they tell me they can't deliver my order and it's up to me to figure it out. The tile is already late and now sits in Roscommon and a third-party carrier.

This has been a very frustrating process with little to no communication.
Beware before ordering if you can't pick it up yourself.
Lots of promises but no results.
Sad.

I came here after my order from another tile distributer fell through. They have a fantastic selection of in-stock tile - I was able to completely redesign my full bathroom remodel and be out the door with tile in hand. Customer service was excellent. All employees were friendly and eager to offer assistance. "J" was particularly helpful in assisting me select my tile and pick my order. She was quick with the sqft calculator, loaded items on carts for me, and had my whole order cued up by the time I got to the front. She even gathered others to help load the 1100lbs of tile into my vehicle. Great experience. Would highly recommend.
