Called last Thursday at 4:51 for a broken Kenmore refrigerator. Lady took call explained it’s $105.00 for call and tech might can fix fridge if he has parts. If not he can order and come back. Set the call up for Saturday between 8am and 2pm. We stayed home all Saturday waiting for the call. NO CALL, NO SHOW. I called several times but they are not open in Saturdays and the machine said if you are scheduled for service someone will call you. Finally after 3 calls I left a message. Monday still no call from them. I called them at 2:55 pm to find out what happened the same lady who took the call said “she doesn’t know what happened to the call and couldn’t find us in the system”. After repeating to her several things she said and we discussed on Thursday she said she remembered the call and taking the order. But doesn’t know what happened to it. That’s 5 days with a broken refrigerator and if not for me contacting them repeatedly they still would not call. What a joke of a company. It’s the first time trying to get service from them. Thought I would keep it local. BIG MISTAKE, I should have read the reviews first. Either they just do not care about customer service or they have no checks and balance system over their employees. If you actually want service, call someone else. HORRIBLE!

Darren showed up and was timely and very professional. Not only helped with the repair, but explained along the way what was taking place. Will definitely be using Docs in the future and would reccomend to anyone needing an appliance serviced!

We contracted Doc’s in February of this year to replace a freezer drawer on a refrigerator. The repair person removed the existing freezer drawer and installed the new one as well as the new seal. Upon completion the repair person was left with 2 pieces of plastic “that he didn’t know where they went”. He stated that since the drawer shuts fine it should be okay and if it isn’t to call back and they’ll take care of it. Fast forward a few months and the freezer itself is having major ice buildup along the walls as the seal was not installed properly. After speaking with Doc’s they charged an additional $105 service charge to return and complete the job properly. We purchased the drawer from them as well as paid for the service personnel to replace properly in the first place. They did not do their job properly and instead of fixing it free of charge as they have already been paid for the work, they charged another $105. Unfortunate and extremely unprofessional. I do not recommend.

Thank you for your reply. Correct after a few short months of your technician changing the seal, it failed. As you stated it needed an adjustment. I am not exactly sure how a drawer could be “closed, improperly” or how the fridge being “bumped” could affect the seal. But what I do know is that your technician spent all of five minutes “fixing” it. I guess the fridge was just lightly “bumped”…
