Yesterday our countertops were installed and I must say their installers Nick and Charles were fast, efficient, and really considerate. Great service and exactly what I wanted! They had a remnant of blue Volga which apparently is a little harder to find. It was a pleasure working with Tom who helped secure the piece and Brenda who made sure the scheduling occurred smoothly even after I had to push it out another month. The installers arrived a 15 minutes outside of the window but they traveled from St. Cloud to Eden Praire so understandable. It looks beautiful!

Capital Granite was excellent, I would recommend them for anyone looking for countertops. They have a great selection of everything, but more specifically Quartzite, which we were looking for. They are the ONLY place in the state(that I know of) that has a great selection of Quartzite, plus does the cutting and install. That saved us thousands alone. We were able to choose the exact slab we wanted and they made it happen. From start to finish, Tom and Lori and the installers couldn't have been better!

I had a single, small interaction with Capital Granite, and they were really wonderful to me.

At the tail end of a long remodeling project, I was replacing my old appliances, and the new dishwasher's mounting brackets didn't line up with the existing holes in my granite counter top. (Side mounting wouldn't work because my cabinets are weird.) Thankfully there are universal mounting bars that attach to the cabinets on either side the dishwasher opening and have a ton of screw holes all along the top for the mounting brackets. I was in a rush to find one locally since I had a dishwasher sitting in the middle of my kitchen!

The big home improvement stores don't have them. Amazon was going to either be expensive or slow. I started calling granite companies in the metro hoping they could point me toward a local supplier. I went through a few before I got to Capital Granite. I wish I'd started with them. I talked to a really friendly and helpful woman who said she thought they had a bunch of them but needed to check to make sure they were actually what I needed. She called back within a couple hours with good news: the product would work. She proceeded to quote me an entirely reasonable price and offered to courier it over to me for free! The solution to my dishwasher problem was in my hand less than 24 hours after I initially contacted them--that's faster and for less money than I would have paid Amazon!

I don't know what it's like to work with Capital Granite on a big project, but given the level of care and service that went into helping me, I can't imagine wanting to work with anyone else.
