Overall, would not recommend. I appreciated that they were quick to contact to set up the move, showed up on time, and efficient (points for this), but where they lost points was all the little damage to my furniture. Everywhere I look I keep finding things. 1. Damage to couch - ripped hole in side of couch above arm rest, ripped the fabric on the bottom of the couch, little rips on the corner, 2. Scraped lamp in multiple locations, 3. Scratched solid wood microwave cart top and scratches on the side, 4. Coffee table - it looks like the top may have been dropped, chips on the corners of the tray tops and some damage to the fabric (will likely end up replacing), 5. Tv stand back was falling off - I fixed it but still 6. Scrape on my bed frame 7. Slightly torn fabric on my bar stool. I didn’t expect things to be perfect, but I also didn’t expect to find a hole in my couch or for them not to say anything about it.

Jermaine, Deandre, and Marcus were INCREDIBLE. It was a big job moving my mom out of her house of 37 years and these guys were impressive. They made a bittersweet day so much fun. They worked hard, had amazingly positive attitudes, and were helpful with SO many things. The guys were so sweet and personable and did their job with joy. Also, the price was amazing for the amount of hours it took. Very impressed by that. I would recommend this moving company to anyone who needs to move. Truly such an amazing experience.

City Moving and Storage provided an exceptional moving experience. I highly recommend them. They facilitated our move from the south metro area to the Brainerd Lakes Area, even accommodating a couple of days between closings by storing our belongings. Bob and Bree were wonderful to work with for coordinating the pick-up, deliveries, and confirming timings – both were knowledgeable and friendly. The deposit process was straightforward and reasonably priced.

The moving crew was outstanding, giving us a call about an hour before their arrival. We had four movers for pick-up and three for delivery. Andy, whom we saw twice, was the only name I remember, but the entire crew was amazing! They were professional movers who expertly disassembled our furniture and protected our items to prevent damage.

We did a walk-through with the Team Lead to ensure they were taking everything as expected and another walk-through upon delivery to confirm everything was in the right place. They also reassembled our furniture. The crew was very efficient in loading and unloading and extremely friendly, providing excellent customer service.

Moving can be stressful, but City Moving and Storage made it smooth and easy. They showed up on time, had the right equipment, maintained fantastic communication, and did an excellent job with the loading and unloading process. Their pricing was also great. I highly recommend them for your next move!

Movers were overall good and worked well. They did make a bad judgement and end up tearing two doors off their hinges when moving a couch. Generally, this would be fine with either some repair from insurance or some money off to cover it. This did not happen.

I reached out and was told they could send someone to put longer nails in the hinge. The door is now crooked and doesn't shut right. I need to reframe the door now and replace all the door stop moulding.

Edit:

Doors fully opened before with no issue. Putting in 3" screws would fority the door but that doesnt fix the issue of your team tearing it off in the first place. The moulding was chipped and would need more than paint. I took the moulding off (took 1 minute) and got the couch in no problem.

I find your response unprofessional and lacking in any responsibility.
