These folks are wonderful to work with. They built my new dock last year. Fair, transparent pricing, and they set honest expectations regarding completion times. They did a nice job of accommodating my customization requests while suggesting improvements or other considerations along the way. Communication was reliable, timely and consistent throughout the process. Attention to detail was strong. These folks care about what they're doing and they work hard. I couldn't be happier with my new dock. I later learned that they also worked on modifications to 2 of my friends' docks, and they had similar feedback as well. We would all use Stokes again

Darren and his guys at stokes dock are excellent!! Started our new dock build by calling several builders in the area and most wouldn’t respond or would toss out a crazy high number. Went in to their storefront & met with Jack who does sales for Darren and he had me numbers pretty quickly along with an initial drawing. He was way below other dock company quotes!! Darren came out and met onsite within a week or so of that and had me a new drawing with our updated dock layout. This was probably September 2023 and he stated new dock could be done and installed approx April/May 2024. He communicated along the way if any questions arose, and sure enough April 1 I looked out and the dock was being pushed and installed. His crew spent 2-3 days doing roof and attaching to seawall and then came back and installed our poly lift.
Darren has great attention to detail and so does his crew. We were very pleased with the entire process and highly recommend them.
See some reviews are negative and didn’t have that experience. Stokes is very busy just like most other dock builders but I promise he is worth the wait!! We love our new dock the built!!

While doing our dock my next door neighbor approached them for some work on his walkway and the stokes crew came back after doing ours and got him fixed up also for a reasonable rate. Neighbor was extremely satisfied also!

I have been trying to get them to come out to do work on my dock since August 2023. I have called monthly for 4 months now, only to be told that I am on the top of the list on the project manager's desk. Still no one shows up. ?

Darrin designed and installed a great dock for us. Taking into consideration of our specific lake conditions. Our dock with stood the ice and low water conditions. Darrin came out to check on our during the ice and low water conditions to make sure everything was OK. Highly recommend him and his team.

Ask for a price quote for PWC ports two weeks ago. No response. Stopped by the store today to check on the quote. The gentleman at the desk was very rude and began to talk about how understaffed he was. Very poor customer service.
