This is only a review of communication as we were not successful in connecting. I contacted the company for an estimate through the site and did not hear a reply, so I called. Mike set up a time to come give an estimate, but did not arrive when we had agreed and did not notify us that he couldn't make it. I called again and he apologized and explained he was having trouble with his vehicle and we set a 2nd day/time for an estimate. He called at the time of the 2nd scheduled visit and left a voicemail saying he couldn't make it. I called back and set up a 3rd date. Mike did not show or call for the last one. As I said we didn't have this company do work although we wanted to. Their work may be excellent. But we were very unimpressed with the organization and communication.

Mike and his crew knocked out a 450+ sqft deck repair in two weeks and it looks brand new. Addressed any concerns we had on the spot and explained the reasons and requirements to any questions. This included new footings, new support beam, new hand rails, new stairs, and new decking. Our deck was in terrible shape. I can't wait to use it for many years to come.
I highly recommend considering St. Louis Deck Co. for cost and workmanship.

From the initial call, Mike was ON IT. He showed up for a free estimate the next day! (Another company made me a week just for their estimate, then another week due to rain.)
His crew fit me in much earlier than expected. They did an amazing repair job to transform my old, rotted fence - salvaging the pieces that were still usable to keep costs down.
I know who to call to fix my old deck next! Can't recommend Mike and his extraordinary team enough.

Ridiculously high quote! Had a second floor wood balcony slip about 2" on one side. Per all contractors who gave bids, including Mike, it needed to be jacked up a couple inches with lag bolts installed all around, new ledger boards, with metal flashing and caulking to waterproof. One bid came in around $1200 and three others less than $1000. The company who ultimately fixed it charged me $785, and did a great job. Mike quoted me a price of $6000 for the same exact repair. I thought he was joking. Sadly, he was not. This is why it pays to get numerous quotes.

We had a deck that was wobbly and had a lot of rotten boards through the stairs and along one edge. I'm so glad I called Mike because he not only knew how to fix the problem but did it in a cost-effective manner. Don't hesitate to call Mike for any of your deck repair needs.

Mike is a good guy. Gave me a bid on site and had the work done within a week. Price was fair and the finished product was excellent! I had them replace a support post, add anchor bolts to house plus replace facia around entire deck, stained and hung. doesnt sound like much …. the deck is 15’x40’ and half of it is 10’ above ground! Totally impressed by timeliness, workmanship and price.
