My review has gone from a 1 to a 4 star. I do not know whether my first review was read or the problems were recognized and fixed spontaneously, but I was finally able to talk to a person, told that the tractor was indeed ready to be delivered to my home. I went in to the service department before delivery and with some insistence on my part, convinced the techs to tell me what probably led to the problems and how I could avoid damage in the future.
This is the 1 star rating written 3 days ago: My tractor has been in the service department for several weeks. I spoke to a human on the phone who promised that someone would get back to me after the tractor had been in the shop for 3-4 weeks,
10 days later no one answered that phone # and the website did not offer a phone #, just a text. To my query by text (and I normally love being able to text, as it in theory saves time lost in interruptions, I received a response, all in capital letters, that: YOU UNIT IS READY , THEY WILL CALL YOU WHEN THEY CAN SCHEDULE TO TAKE BAK YOUR UNIT.
I asked by text: Who will call? What had to be repaied? How will I be billed?
Answer by text:
YOU CAN CALL IN AND PAY OVER THE PHONE WHEN THEY CALL YOU TO TELL YOU WHEN THEY ARE DELIVERING YOUR UNIT BACK...
I has been over 6 weeks now

I do not recommend buying or using Deviney for anything until they get a real person to discuss business.

I recently bought a redmax backpack blower and the tube has come off nonstop. Deviney has looked at it twice now adjusted the tensioner the first time and ran for 15 minutes and said there was no issues. When you buy a $600 piece of equipment you expect not to work on it non stop. Won't use this business again, because clearly they have no form of warranty.

James Rose was my salesman and one of the nicest and most informative salesman I’ve ever met. He’s just a great ole country boy!!! I later met Bruce who was super nice as well… All the people in the store were quite nice and friendly. Just plain good people to deal with… They are all nice and all, but I had to pay for my tractor… I’m a lifetime customer….,

Terry Grey Jr. was the name on the card.

I came home to a massive pile of trash that belongs to a house down the street on my front lawn and no one at this company will answer the cell numbers I was given. I have no idea who these people are. Obviously not very professional if they are going to leave debris from another house on my property.

Update number one: Terry got back with me after a couple of hours and has informed me he intends on picking up the debris in the morning. I appreciate the response and I’ll make sure to update once I hear it’s been picked up.

Update number two: Terry was quick to get his crew in the next morning and clean up my yard. Really appreciate his expediency. Nice guy to converse with. With my current experience with them, I would give them a try and see how they work with me in the future. From what I can tell they will do work and fix anything you have an issue with.
