If you can choose someone else, do. If you can’t, may God help you. You’re in for a test on patience. I failed that test about three weeks ago. Be prepared to hear the phrase “We should be finishing up this week” for at least a month.

The work they’ve done has been fine so far, but be prepared to have their number on speed dial because you WILL have to REPEATEDLY call to get any news about anything. I was told I would get a call back at least four times and never did, then was told AFTER calling them back the next day that “there wasn’t any update so we didn’t want to call”. The bar is on the floor in terms of communication. And not just between customers and staff.

The crews don’t communicate with each other. The staff won’t communicate with you unless you sit there and force them to. It took two months and at least half a dozen phone calls for them to tell us about work that STILL HAS NOT BEEN FINISHED. There was a mixup with a piece for our bathroom, which is not their fault, but it should not have taken this long to do everything else.

Negative stars would be better…they don’t listen to your concerns, lie to you constantly, take way too long to complete the job, steal your stuff (not just materials but also things like yeti cups and Amazon boxes), break your stuff (and not just wall sockets but also things like a vintage floor vase), when painting they don’t prepare the walls beforehand, they just paint over whatever is there (bugs, dirt, etc.), they cut corners (literally, like their tile corners weren’t cut right and holes showed through, the “custom cabinets” were made of bubblegum and wood shavings…the list goes on and on…Stay far, far away from them.

So my family and I purchased a house built by Danny Roberts. Before we closed he assured us that the front door bell (which did not work) would be fixed and a plat map would be given to us. At the time of close, the door bell still did not work and no map had been given. About 4 months go by and there was still no play map and the front door bell still did not work. The only reason to this day our front door bell works is because we now have Vivint. As time has gone by, we have come to realize that he did not use the correct hardware on the cabinets (numerous knobs simply fall off when attempting to open the doors), none of the cabinet knobs were tightened down, the flooring was half heartedly installed (there are multiple gaps where you can see foundation around the door frames), and to top it off he cut corners and left a cap brick off behind the trim outside so we now have bats in our attic (our neighbors who also purchased from Roberts have had similar issues and then some). The was no pride taken in the construction of this house on his part, and it shows after spending time in the house.
