Overall

We recently completed a major downstairs house remodel. At the beginning of the project, our contractor suggested we reach out to Kiyomi and Design House. Bringing Kiyomi in on our project was the single best decision we made!

With a newly opened up space, elegant and practical cabinetry, a beautiful kitchen island and a dining area that is finally useful and comfortable, we love everything about our “new home”.

Kiyomi helped us achieve what we had been seeking, even when we weren’t able to describe exactly what we wanted. We benefited tremendously from her vision, her ability to track all the details, and her connection with so many talented trades people.

Kiyomi listens to ideas and translates them into something better than you had imagined. Throughout the entire project, she provided options each step of the way, always mindful of our budget and our lifestyle. As work progressed, Kiyomi would stop by and check on how things were going, and typically found some thing that needed to be taken care of. She had a great relationship with our contractor and together they brainstormed solutions… whether it was design of the perfect dog wash or removing a wall to create the space and flow we hoped for.

Our next project with Kiyomi will be creating a more beautiful and functional master bath.

Kiyomi is a pleasure to work with. We enthusiastically recommend Kiyomi and her team to anyone seeking a creative partner to design spaces that are both practical and joyful!

Overall

From the minute we met with Kiyomi, she got us! She very quickly understood our wants and needs as we decorated our new home in Bozeman. As a great listener, Kiyomi was able to pull together the decor in our entire house, making it flow just the way we wished!
I highly recommend Design House to anyone looking to upgrade the look and feel of their home. Kiyomi is an absolute delight!

I’d wanted to furnish and update my rental apartment for years, but didn’t have the time or energy to focus on it. Kiyomi and her team assured me the process would be easy and they would take care of all the details. Not only did they create a space that fits my taste and I would have never done on my own, but they took care of every detail from furniture to accessories and small appliances. It’s fully stocked and ready to rent. Turnkey, without any stress or effort from my side.

Kiyomi is true professional and a breath of fresh air to work with. Positive, assuring and with an uncanny ability to deliver on something I wasn’t able to put into words.

Overall

Kiyomi took my physical therapy office from a somewhat sterile and medical-feeling space to one that immediately makes people feel welcome, comfortable, and relaxed when they step through the door. Most patients comment on how nice the area feels (how many people can say that about a medical office?). I'm 100% confident that the environment Kiyomi created in my clinic has improved my patients' outcomes because it doesn't feel like a typical medical office. Patients are comfortable and at ease, lending to better and more meaningful communication, which leads to better outcomes and results. I didn't realize how important things like design, lighting, and color are in creating a therapeutic environment for clients. Kiyomi's work has quite literally made me more effective in doing my job. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for commercial or residential design.
