I've known Bill for 10 years and he stands behind his work because he knows his job well, and will always treat the customer right. His pricing is fair and reasonable. He put the roof on my newly added apartment in back of my house with shingle for high slope roof and torchdown rubber for lower pitched roof. It's done well.

I needed a small amount of siding repaired on my house. I have used East Coast Roofing for some roof repairs in the past. I called East Coast Roofing and Mr. Barnes called me the same day and came out the next day to look at it. I also shared some potential issues with my roof (that had been replaced by another roofing company that I would not recommend to anyone). Two days later when I was available, he came out, fixed the siding, assessed the condition of my roof, and quickly addressed a few things that would have grown to be bigger issues. He has repaired my roof a few times in the past as well. He is responsive and easy to work with. He thoroughly explains and shows you what the issue is when he finds a problem. Prices are always reasonable and job is completed in a timely manner. Great company to work with!

Great experience with Mr Barnes and his company. We spoke to several roofers to get our storm damaged roof replaced. Mr Barnes was honest and up front with us from the start. Even fielding all the questions we had after doing our “research” with detail and patience. Start date was set within 2 weeks of our first contact, one day delayed due to rain, and then the job was done in a single day. And that was for wood, shingles, ridge vent, everything. I have been putting of repairing my roof until I could afford it. But due to storm damage my insurance company helped me pay for it. So, I contacted Bill from East Coast Roofing and told him my situation about my insurance claim. He came out to my house and asked me a few questions and I told him I had paperwork from the insurance company, that gave all the measurements of the house. He said ok, climbed on the roof did his own measurements and without looking at my insurance paperwork had the same numbers. He told me that he wanted to make sure everything was done correctly, and taking someone else's word for it was not good enough. So, then we talked about the shingles and what they would cost. He had several to choose from. And the wife fell in Love with one that had a blue hint to it. The next day I went to his office and we signed a contract for what we discussed and since this was an insurance claim he worked with me on the payment. And here is the best part. We picked out a particular color of shingle that my wife liked and he could only get 2/3s of the amount I needed for my roof. And instead of telling me they were out of stock he drove over an hour to Fuquay-Varina, NC to get the rest of the material needed to finish my roof. With no additional charges, in his truck. And that's with gas at over 4 dollars a gallon. So it took a day and a half to take down the old and put up the new. Everything was cleaned up. They even blew off the drive way and raked out any debre from my yard. I am so excited about my new roof and can't wait for the world to see it. Thank you so much!

Mr. Barnes patched up our roof two years ago when we couldn’t afford to change it yet. Fast forward two years later his team replaced our whole roof fast and effectively. It was time to get a new roof and we called East Coast Roofing to get an estimate. Mr. Barnes came the next day and patiently answered all of our questions and concerns. This was our first time replacing a roof so we had lots of questions and Mr. Barnes walked us through all the process. From the beginning to end of the job, Mr. Barnes kept us informed which of course, put us at ease. His employees finished the job on time! This company cares about their customers. When doing home improvements in the past, we had issues with customer service and people not keeping their word. Not this company. I am extremely satisfied with our new roof!
