Jeff completed the timberframe for our dream home in western North Carolina a little over a year ago and we are ecstatic! We met Jeff nearly 15 years ago when we first started looking at timberframe homes and he has become a great friend and partner in this endeavor. We made numerous trips to Franklin over the years to look at different frames with Jeff and to scout the area. When we found our lot we decided the time was right to start building and met with Jeff and his design team to draft a frame design. Jeff worked closely with our architect and contractor to make sure the frame fit into the building plan and incorporated our vision completely. He provided us with a lot of guidance on picking wood species, designing for maximum impact, and tying the frame into the overall aesthetic of our house. When it came time to deliver the frame, he was onsite to guide the team in placing the frame and consulted with our builder to make sure the frame was protected throughout the process and finished to meet our desires. Jeff, Maria, and all of his team have been extremely helpful, communicative, and easy to work with. We couldn't have picked a better timberframe company to build our home!

When we decided to put timber frames in our new home in Kansas City, we decided to have Jeff Johnson build them for us. We had checked with someone local but the quality was no comparison to Jeff's. We had found out about Jeff because our daughter lives in Franklin, NC. We have never regretted our decision. It was worth the 1000 mile trip to bring them home to KC. Wonderful to work with! I can't tell you how many wow's and ah's that I have heard when people visit our home for the first time!

It was such a comfortable and excellent experience working with Mr Jeff Johnson and Maria. Jeff consulted us every step of the way, giving us suggestions and helpful advice. I called several timber frame businesses in our area, and Jeff's company was clearly the best choice. The other companies had random salesmen that didn't seem to care about anything but making their commission$. We are so proud of our cabin in the woods. Call Jeff...you will be so happy with your structure...I AM!

Working with Jeff and his guys has been a wonderful experience. They cut and raised our timber frame back a couple of years ago and recently made us a custom set of stairs! Jeff is very knowledgeable and his craftsman shift is exceptional! My family and I get to wake up in a beautiful timber frame every morning, we love it so much we never want to leave. I highly recommend using Jeff Johnson’s Timberframes for any future projects!

Everyone at Jeff Johnson Timber Frames is easy to work with and knowledgeable. He helped us build a 4000 foot square home and there were no problems at all. No matter what came up, Jeff had an answer. This is obviously "not his first rodeo". We wanted some things in our house that other companies wouldnt do, but Jeff had no problem with it. Choosing Jeff Johnson was the best decision we made in the whole process and we would recommend him highly
