I called 4 places before reaching Modern Mechanical when I woke up on the hottest day of the year and had no AC. They said someone would be out between noon and 5pm. I got a call at 3pm confirming they would be here today and shortly afterwards I got a call advising that they were on their way. I had a great experience with Modern Mechanical on 6/25 and 6/27 — they certainly lived up to the rave reviews on my local NextDoor app. I called in the midst of the current heatwave to set an appointment to diagnose why my AC wasn’t working, and they scheduled me promptly. The technician, Laurence, came on time and was friendly and thorough in finding the problem, taking his time to explain and show me what was happening. He came back 2 days later after the part was received and again was on time, thorough, friendly and patient with answering my questions; as well as explaining what he did and why. The price was fair considering the problem at hand, and in just a few hours, my home is nice and cool. I can’t recommend MM and Laurence enough!

Modern Mechanical is the most professional, knowledgeable, and friendliest business I have ever dealt with!! I cannot say enough wonderful things about them. We called them for an estimate and were informed of some major issues with our current heat and air system that other companies were just going to let go and never mentioned. I was so impressed by their honesty and integrity, that I will not ever use anyone else but them. They also came out the same day for our downstairs unit, when it went out. Joe is excellent in his rapport and expertise and the whole team that had to keep coming out to do work for us were the BEST!!! You can tell they took pride in their job and company. Andrew and Zeke replaced my upstairs HVAC today. They were on time, courteous and professional. They provided detailed information about the new systems clearly and had the system up and running in a few hours with no issues. They provided floor protection coverings wherever needed, hauled all of the old equipment away, (including some shrubs that needed a trim)and did a great clean up at the end of the day. MM also provided us with a new window unit ac to get our bedroom cool for the 4 days between their first visit and installation. We are totally satisfied with MM and would not hesitate to recommend.
