Booked the first appointment of the day, 8-9am.arrival time. Have been sitting at the storage unit for 45 mins (since 8 am), and just received a call to say they are still 20 mins away. I'm only 15 mins from the College Hunks office! We'll see what the service is like when they get here.

I’m in the process of moving and all I had left was my couch so I called College Hunks to help me and they were able to come that same day. They weren’t able to get it through the door ( entryway was too small) so they had to lift it with straps from my upstairs patio. Sanjeev, Chris and D went above and beyond to help me get my couch in my new apartment. I will be calling them whenever I need help with moving in the future!

Took a long time to get everything moved (even though we moved almost all the boxes prior, so it was only the larger furniture and my washer/dryer in a two bedroom apartment). Ended up over my estimate, costing $1160 when the estimate was $960. They even added a third person to "make it faster". Took 6 hours to move a two bedroom apartment 15 minutes away. The third person admitted to my sister that it was only his second day and he was still learning what to do. They broke two pieces of furniture, one was a leg of a kitchen cabinet stand when I saw them push it across my floor instead of lifting it. They also scratched my door. They lost bolts/screws to furniture and when they did give me some the workers were not sure which screws/bolts belonged to which furniture.
I will say they did get the furniture fixed and the door fixed, but I had to take extra time out of other days to meet them to get those items fixed. When asked about a discount/partial refund, the owner stated I already received a 30 minute discount, that I was unaware of (Which means they really went over the estimate).
I called corporate but they said that it is up to the local office and were no help.

I called College Hunks around 9:00am to get a quote, and they had a truck at my house within a few hours. The entire process was very smooth and easy. Prior to the truck getting to my house, they called to confirm where I would like the truck and to see if there were any restrictions. Two gentlemen, Jorge Garcia and Quinton, arrived, quickly loaded all the trash, and left. They were very friendly and efficient. The entire experience was incredibly smooth, and painless.

Overall

I was 100% satisfied with my experience using College Hunks moving. I was moving heirlooms from my parents’ home to my home150 miles away. Not only was it affordable, Devin and Joe took great care in handling these precious items as if they were their own. They are hard workers and had great communication with each other throughout the move which made the whole process smooth and efficient. I would definitely use their services again and recommend them to friends and family. Thank you College Hunks!
