I needed my garage door looked at and David took care of my door. He quickly fixed another door that had a quirk to it as well and was very helpful. Highly recommend.

I highly recommend David for any garage door needs…he responded quickly when our garage spring broke and came out the same day. He took the time to explain what had happened and what would be needed to fix our door. He communicated with me through the entire process and had us up and running again in no time. I used their service twice, they are very reliable and efficient and they don’t inflate their prices for services rendered. They offer additional recommendations and advice, last time they showed me how to troubleshoot an issue before coming out and fixed my problem. I was amazed and wowed. Our "awesome" spec home builder, like many others out there, skimped out and put a single spring on a double door to save costs. After about 6.5 years of high use, the spring broke, rendering the necessary counterbalance for our 180lb door, useless. While I do just about everything from car maintenance to home repair, some things are best left to pros. Is it worth saving a couple hundred bucks after a spring unloads on your face? Not for me. I called "uncle" and then started calling around. I started down the list of possibilities (in no particular order). The first place didn't answer their phone. Swell. The second place didn't call me back. Nicely done. The third place, Garage Door Geeks out of Lexington actually answered the phone and it was the owner (David) who also does the work. Amazing right? Fast forward 18 hours from the time the spring broke to the automatic door working again and that should tell you how fast and good the service was. Here's the best part: David actually utilizes technology like *gasp* email and texting! Imagine that! Techs and contractors take note! It's the little things right? Speaking of little things, David mentioned a few things that could also be wrong with the door prior to starting his work on providing me with an upgraded counterbalance set up (2 springs vs. 1). However - and get this - he was forthright and explained all of those little things were fine on my door after further investigation. He could have nickel and dimed me for another $50-$75 if he wanted to but didn't. So, do not hesitate to do business with this local small business owner. No weird vibes, no needless upselling and a nicely running garage door is what you'll get. Thanks David!

Excellent service, very knowledgeable, and extremely friendly:
David from Garage Door Geeks came out to our house, fixed our garage, and also went out of his way to share some helpful advice on what to look out for, for garage door maintenance. A couple weeks ago a large spring broke on our garage door, but unfortunately we didn’t realize until very late in the afternoon. I tried calling another garage door service company, but was placed on a hold and after 3 or 4 minutes decided to give Garage Door Geeks a call. Immediately I was routed to David’s phone and despite being engaged on another service call, ensured that he would help. I sent him images over text and within 15 to 20 minutes we had an appointment scheduled for first thing the next morning and details on what to expect.
I highly recommend David and plan to use him in the future for any garage door maintenance.
