Service. AC Medic installed a new Trane System at my house. My old unit was not properly sized and was not cooling properly. Robert came out and measured the downstairs, checked the orientation on the lot, and even calculated for window coverings and doors. I have never had a contractor be so thorough.

He recommended new duct work and gave me a choice of 4 systems that would work in my house from Trane. I ended up selecting a single-compressor, two-stage unit, because I wanted the option of zoning the downstairs due to one of the rooms getting a lot of sun, but I also wanted to live with it a while.

Installation was done by Joey and Jacob. They worked clean and were very respectful of the property and the house - wearing shoe coverings inside and being careful with the grass, because it was raining heavily on the day of the install.

The installation went well and everything was working well. The new duct design eliminated the hot and cold zones that we had with the old system.

I highly recommend AC Medic. Robert is a next-generation AC Mechanic and a class act. His use of all of the modern tools to calculate load, size the unit, and even review its operation after the fact give me a great deal of confidence in the new system and support for the life of the house.

Most importantly, this is the most comfortable this house has ever been. Call AC Medic. Quality matters. And from the front office to the newest technicians, AC Medic sets the standard.

We are so satisfied with our AC Medic experience. We moved into our new home, and were shocked when we discovered there was no working HVAC. It was super cold that week. A neighbor recommended Robert T. who runs their crews. Robert came to see what we needed within hours. He did very exact heat/cool measurements for our house and gave us a full report. He also sent over two large heating units to help until our install. He offered several possibilities and we ended up installing a large mini-split, an option that is super efficient and even provides a $2000 tax credit for us this year. Throughout this process, Robert, his crew and Angie, who runs the office end of things, offered kind support and beautiful follow up, answering many questions and working with us closely before and after our installation. Orange County passed our unit at inspection. We made the right choice when we contracted with AC Medic. I recommend them highly.

There is huge peace of mind in being able to trust a company. We trust AC Medic because they stand behind their product and their work. We had an incompetent general contractor for a major renovation who left us with numerous HVAC headaches. Making it worse was we have an 86-year-old family member who needs consistent temperatures in her part of the house. In the year since the HVAC came online, AC Medic has probably made seven or eight trips here to make it right, and that’s a hour trip each way from Mebane. One after another they painstakingly pinpointed the problems and found solutions. They understood what we were up against. Like any HVAC firm with a good reputation, they are super-busy, but they always found time to service what they had installed, and never sent us a bill. Like everything else these days, a good HVAC system is pricey. But if you buy from AC Medic, you'll get your money's worth and more. They are hands-down our favorite service company.
