I had an issue with an office employee with my appointment I had scheduled and the owner Tommy Faulkner called me back himself. He was extremely nice, professional and very apologetic with the issue I had!!! Because of him standing behind his company and acting on the issue I would recommend them!

I called this company to performance maintenance on an elevator that came with a house we purchased. When the technician was here he turned off a valve but neglected to turn it back on. I called them back and the technician turned the valve back on. I was then billed for a second visit. I called in early September to ask why I was billed for a visit to correct what the technician forgot to do on the first visit. I never received a call back but in November I received a notice that my bill would be sent to collections if I didn't pay it immediately. I had to remind the representative of the issue and she said she take it to management even though I reminded her that I called when the bill was first sent. I ultimately paid the bill because I didn't want to argue with them anymore but I will not be using this company again.

I WOULD STAY AS FAR AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY AS YOU CAN THEY GAVE US A QUOTE FOR An ELEVATOR BEFORE WE GOT OUR PERMITS OR BROKE GROUND, THEY TOLD THE HOMEOWNER IF SIGNED A CONTRACT AND PAID THE DEPOSIT, IT WOULD LOCK HIS PRICE IN SO HE PAID THE DEPOSIT AND THE INSPECTION DEPT DRUG THEIR FEET ISSUEING THE PERMIT AND MADE THE ENGINEERS CHANGE THINGS TO THE UNITS FOR 2 YEARS NOW THAT WE ARE READY TO START THEY SAID THEY CANT HONOR THAT PRICE BECAUSE THEIR MATERIAL COST WENT UP BUT THAT SHOULDNT MATTER BECAUSE HE SIGNED A CONTRACT AND PAID A DEPOSIT AND WHEN HE DID THE COMPANY SHOULD HAVE BOUGHT THE MATERIALS AND THEY DIDNT SO NOW THEY WANT TO CHARGE THE HOMEOWNER $16K MORE TO DO THE JOB THE HOMEOWNER OFFERED TO SPLIT THE COST EVEN THOUGH THEY ARE UNDER CONTRACT FOR THE PRICE THAT THE CONTRACTED STATED AND THEY STILL WOULDNT DO THAT SO BASICALLY THE HOMEOWNER GAVE THEM A INTREST FREE LOAN SENSE THEY BREACHED THEIR CONTRACT THE OWNER SAID HE WILL BE FILING A SUIT AND A COMPLAINT WITH THE STATES ATTORNEY GENERAL. IN ALL MY YEARS IN BUSINESS THIS IS THE FIRST TIME I SEEN A COMPANY HAVE SOMEONE SIGN A CONTRACT THAT HAD NO STATED TIMEFRAME AND PAY A DEPOSIT TO DO THE JOB AND WAS WELL AWARE THAT WE HADNT BROKEN GROUND YET AND REFUSE TO HONOR THE CONTRACT PRICE MAYBE THEY NEEDED THE MONEY WHO KNOWS BUT THEY ARE VERY DECEPTIVE IN THEIR BUSINESS PRACTICES

We are unfortunately tied to using this company, as we purchased a home in which they had installed the elevator.
Please note, during holidays they do NOT keep anyone on call. Our elevator went out during a power surge, and my 74 year old mother - who depends on that elevator to get up and downstairs - was stuck upstairs over Christmas!
It was her first holiday after losing my father. We called the company on Thursday 12/23 at 4pm, and were notified that their entire company was closed and they had sent all technicians on holiday at the same time. Not one person on a rotating “on call” schedule!
Tommy Faulkner, their owner, called us and also had no explanation other than “the staff took a vote”.
All in all, this is not a company to depend on during an emergency. Look elsewhere for a dedicated service provider.

I am revising my review from yesterday bc I had a call from the nicest person apologizing for what happened (aloof person that answered the phone when I called to see why the guy was late). I feel confident that the owners are handling her, so hopefully she’ll be better.
We have always had excellent service where it pertains to our elevator. The service man was very knowledgeable and helpful. He explained everything to me and apologized for being late.

We called REAL Elevator Solutions after they were recommended to us. We didn't have any information about the elevator and wanted to be able to use the elevator. They serviced the elevator and insisted that we install a back up battery.
The 1st time we tried to use the elevator, someone was locked inside and the elevator did not move. We had them come back out and all he said was that you have to turn a key to turn the elevator on.... They had not told us to do that before and charged us an additional $200.
The 2nd time we tried to use the elevator, it did not work again! We tried turning the key and that didn't work. I called and said we are not going to continue to pay when it wasn't fixed the first time. They came back out and said that it needed to be reset and which button to push. Then he elaborated that they do not make this elevator anymore and it was a "Ride at Your Own Risk". He even refused to ride the elevator which doesn't give you any confidence in the work.
Then charged us another $200! When I explained to them that I said upfront I wasn't going to pay for something that they didn't fixed. I was sent an email that it would go into collections if not paid within 30 days.
Please do yourself a favor and choose a company that stand behind their work!

My husband was injured in a car accident about two years ago and after over a year being in rehabilitation centers and hospitals I brought him home to take care of him. Since he is wheelchair bound and we have a three story home without an elevator he could not have access to all of the floors. That is where REAL Elevators came in and did a wonderful job of installing the perfect elevator to meet my husbands needs. Tommy Faulkner, the company owner, was wonderful to work with and was always responsive, answering any questions I had. His workers were courteous, understanding, and professional and installed the elevator much quicker that I thought could be done. The elevator installation has meet all of our expectations and has truly changed our lives. Thanks REAL Elevator for a job well done.

I consulted Real Elevator Solutions about installing a retrofit style elevator lift in a home. After being quoted and sold a specific brand lift, we accepted their offer. We quickly consulted and paid for 3rd party engineering, and cut a 4’x5’ hole in the floor of the home to RES and manufacturer specifications.
It was only after multiple meetings and site visits, confirming the elevator style, pricing, shaft dimensions, engineering, and significant structural modifications to the home that I received word from Bill Faulkner (Sales) that they were unable to furnish the lift because quote “I quoted you the wrong Cab style....The price difference is very significant”, and they were ‘too busy’. The only thing left to do at this point was place order and install the lift. Real Elevator Solutions knowingly pulled the rug out from under us, and left a homeowner with a hole in the floor of their home, and no lift. They offered ZERO recourse, even though they were admitting fault for misquoting the cab style. (Which only affected their bottom line a few hundred dollars)
We ended up using another local company for a ONLY A FEW HUNDRED DOLLARS MORE (on a $26,000 job!)
Further discussions with the owner revealed that he was ‘uncomfortable installing Savarria products’ (the lift THEY SOLD US ON), and was very defensive and was hardly apologetic. He was unable to explain his poor business ethics, and why a few hundred dollars of lost profit was worth the bad reputation.
In closing I feel a duty to reveal this company’s poor practices to homeowners, contractors, and manufacturer. It’s obvious they lack accountability and are not concerned with homeowner satisfaction, quality, or reputation. Only profit. I personally recommend finding a REAL elevator company to do business with.
