BEST UPHOLSTERY SHOP AROUND

Took my boat seats to Raleigh Upholstery to have them redone. Original seats from 2003 were in rough shape and coming apart at the seams. Josh stayed in contact with me throughout the entire process giving me updates and letting me come pick up pieces as they were finished. Their work is extremely professional, seats turned out great. The conversations over tea will definitely be missed, will take any and all upholstery work here from now on. Thank you guys for all your hard work, will see ya again on the next one

We could not be happier with Raleigh Upholstery! They covered out dining room chairs which were 100+ years old and they came out fabulous! We recently had them recover cushions for our camper and they look and feel great. Please see photos. We Highly recommend these people!! Will post more photos when cushions are installed in the camper.

Wow. I have never had furniture reupholstered so I ventured upholstery shops with good reviews. I'm not sure how my husband found Raleigh Upholstery but I wish for Josh and his son to have more of a presence in the reupholstery businesses in the Research Triangle. I discovered there are few upholsterers in the industry who have the workmanship and "old school" vibe that Josh has. The shop it self was unassuming and tucked away. But, enter the shop and you see a small business owner with craftsmanship and attention to detail that is hard to find. He's honest (I thought I needed the whole chair reupholstered), he's creative, talented and let me add-kind. Other upholsters advised me to get new chairs, because the cost of reupholstering was prohibitive. Rather than reupholster my recliners entirely (from Lazy Boy), Josh recommended I replace a section on each chair. He even pointed out that I there were screws loose that he tightened. Check out this store, you will NOT BE disappointed. He also reupholsters cars, boats and so much more.

The best in the business! Josh is a master at his craft and you can tell he takes pride in his work. He asks plenty of questions to make sure he understands what you want and helps explain what will work best for your needs. Quality work, quick turnaround and great communication throughout the process. I will definitely be using them again in the future.
