Overall

When COX installed new cable in my area, dug into the sprinkler system along the sidewalk. The system had to be repaired. The technicians from Elkhorn Lawn did an excellent job of repairing the damage. The owner of the company got involved to insure everything met my expectations.

I am always very satisfied with the work Elkhorn Lawn does for me and would highly recommend them to anyone who is looking for a good lawn service.

I have used Elkhorn Lawn Care for many years, since the original owners were just starting out. Over time the company grew and added new services. As they have grown and added more and more services, costs have increased and work quality decreased. Instances such as being charged when they didn't mow, weeds growing in the lawn, they were supposed to spray as part of Fertilization and not completing the full perimeter treatment because the gates are locked.....when they have the keys. The extremely high prices for mowing had me look elsewhere for 2024. The lack of meeting scheduling needs for sprinklers had me leave for good later this spring. I've asked for my keys back. Conveniently they have lost them. The quality of service went downhill when one owner left and the other is less involved in day to day operations.

I had Elkhorn lawn care come out to turn my sprinkler system on for the summer and not only did I have a bad valve in the control area, but I had a root nightmare on one of my sprinkler lines. The sprinkler tech, Derek, not only did an excellent job of resolving the problems, but he did it with a smile on his face and was very friendly. He went the extra mile to get the system working and then Trouble shot another issue that we are going to resolve in a couple of weeks. I couldn’t be more satisfied with their Service. I highly recommend them. Ask for Derek.

I sold my house and called to cancel my service last September, customer service lady said would get it done but still someone came and mowed the lawn a couple of weeks later, called again and the customer service lady said I need to send an email to cancel but didn’t mention I also have to cancel my fertilization and winterization service. Today I get a bill asking to pay for fertilization on a house I no longer owned, very poor customer service and all your company wants is money. Very disappointed for a company I trusted so much. Greed is good for business, I guess.

We had the pleasure of working with Jeni with our design and Jose M., Jose A. and Will R. with the installation. Everything was completed as promised, their attention to detail and hard work was evident with the end result. We could not be pleased more with working with Elkhorn Lawn Care. At one point another landscaper failed to complete their part of the job and Jose’s team stepped in to get it done. They could have easily walked away as it clearly was not their responsibility. But their commitment to us as the customer outweighed the additional workload on each of them. Truly a rare quality in staff and businesses today. I will continue to highly recommend them with others or for our future needs.

I had hired this company at the beginning of the year and they have done an exceptional job with my lawn. Their prices are very reasonable They do respect me and they're always kind and friendly and actually I've seen all of them smile more than anybody else I've seen small doing lawn work.

The photos attached are of my backyard before and after pictures today.

They are on time and usually on the same date which makes it easier for my dog and myself. There is one particular crew that has done the whole season and that was William and he has two cousins that work with him usually one or the other and I have dubbed his crew the lawn cousins.

I am back to being very proud of my lawn again they have straightened up everybody else's screw-ups thanks to these guys

I highly recommend Elkhorn Lawn Care 100%. And I'm looking forward to working with them again next year have a good winter.

If there would be 100 stars they would get it from me. We met James and Alex when they were just starting their mowing service - well let me tell you how very much we are impressed by both of them. If you make an appointment with them they will always be early. If they promise you a date they will be there to do the work. One very impressed example was just this past summer (2015) when we had to have a couple trees taken down with added sod. Well it was cold and rainy and I mean rainy and 6 guys came all bundled up to do the job. If I could only go back in time to take a picture.
Another great asset they have at the company is the priceless Tara - I would swear she is sitting at her computer ready to response to your email or answer any questions. I believe she needs a "BIG" raise.
If you go with any other company it's only because you have not found them yet.

It’s 2020 and what an improvement Elkhorn Lawn has made on our lawn and also some landscape. We love our front area listening to our fountain that they designed and installed. During the summer a couple plants did not make it and they replaced them with no problem. We had not been using them for our yard treatments but when they were out when day and told us what was wrong with our yard and treated us for it I will definitely go with them in the future. Thanks to Jeni and all the great employees there?
