Overall

We unfortunately had our sump pump fail. We started an insurance claim immediately due to standing water all over the basement. Our insurance assigned Carlson through our online claim submittal to contact us to handle the water mitigation. The claim was submitted after hours and Carlson called within 30 minutes. From the very 1st phone call their customer service is out of this world and I mean top notch! We were super stressed out and were worried about the standing water. They came out that same night and extracted all of the standing water and placed fans, dehumidifiers and air scrubbers all within 2 hours of the claim being submitted. The next morning they were there promptly to check on things and assess the walls to see the damage. We had called and spoke to our insurance and wanted to find out what our deductible would be ect and then was given the worst news that our sump pump was not covered on our insurance. We were told we had to have an additional coverage added to cover any type of water that comes in the house from outside aka water backup policy. We had no clue that we should have done that. We have been with same insurance company for 9 years and have never had a house or auto claim and then were told that. We then had to inform Carlson which was originally sent out by our insurance company that it is not covered. It was the most gut wrenching feeling knowing we were responsible for 100% of the damages and water mitigation work, the emotions were high to say the least in our home, lots of tears shed. Carlson treated us like family and we truly felt it. They said not to worry and they would work with us and offered many different ways to help us out on how to proceed. They stood by those words and we are getting them paid off but you just don't find company's like this anymore. They got our basement completely dried out and we will have to slowly fix things due to insurance not covering anything. We will always recommend Carlson Restoration to family and friends.

Working with Kevin was the best person have in our home. He never gave us the impression he was in a hurry to get out here even though he kept working not wasting time. To us he always kept his area clean when left and informed us of his next plan and when planned on finishing. He projected a professional outlook in appearance and conversation.

Overall

Came home to two inches of water in the basement. One call to my Insurance adjuster and Carlson was contacted. It was all hands on deck and my mind was put at ease. Three managers arrived to access damage and quickly had solutions to the damage as well as man power and time table to solve all of my issues.all work was completed beautifully and on schedule. Could not be more pleased. Have pictures of the remodel and proudly show all my friends and family. Would not hesitate to recommend Carlson to anybody I know.

Overall

Tristan lined his crews up so no time was lost. Everyone did a superb job and it was completed on time. Tristan was always available when I had questions and he helped me select the proper floor tiles, wall colors and fixtures. I'm very happy with the results.
