Bad communication and not reliable. They sent someone to check my furnace but the tech did not give any details of what is the issue and they still charged me, called the office couples of times spoke with them and still did not call me back as promise to resolve the issue.

Most capable/honest HVAC company in NH!

Finding a contractor for any trade is always a challenge, because you can never foretell the quality of their work or how they’ll respond when things don’t go according to plan. Having worked with Georges on our heat pump installation, I can confidently say that they perform to the highest degree possible in both areas.

Through no fault of Georges’, we encountered a few hiccups with our equipment after installation. Many companies would have charged us an arm and a leg to figure out what was going wrong, or otherwise refused to help since they had already been paid. But not Georges. They worked for hours over multiple days to identify the malfunctioning subsystems within the equipment, and they found a solution even when the manufacturer couldn’t. Georges stood by their word, did what was right for us at their own monetary expense, and now we’re customers for life.

Do yourself a favor: call Georges!

Five Stars for Matt C. who works here and came to our house today to help us with our A/C unit. This is my first time reaching out to George's to help us with this issue, we used a different company previously. Regardless, we were so impressed with Matt's competency. He has been the only tech in the last 3 years to try to properly diagnose and fix the issues we've been having with our unit. In years past, whoever has come out has just told us that we needed to replace the unit, which we purchased and installed brand new about 10 years ago (not to say this can't happen). Matt went straight to work to help give us answers as to what could the real problem instead of just "guessing" and telling us we needed to spend another $10k. So this review is for you Matt, thank you so much! You're excellent at your craft.

I don't like leaving reviews like this, but this company has had multiple chances. They did furnace maintenance for me last fall. I was very happy with the service and booked them at that time for AC service in the spring. I wasn't sure if they were coming on that day as it had been booked so far ahead and I hadn't heard from them, so I called. I got an answering service. I had to call the answering service back as I did not hear back. I got a call back and they were away in another state and said the person scheduled for my job that afternoon was running late and asked if I would mind rescheduling to the following week. No problem at all as I know what that can be like. I waited the full two hours on that new day. No show. No call. I called back. Again, answering service. I did not get a response, so I called again. This time I spoke with a very nice lady who apologized and rescheduled. Another schedule came and went. I waited a couple days to see if I would get a call or anything. No. Nothing. So I texted to have my account closed. I received a very heartfelt apology which I have responded to, but I have not heard back in 4 business days.

The company is very blessed to have employees that are knowledgeable, professional, personable and courteous. They did a great job with the installation, with explaining the new system to me, and also cleaning up after the installation! I highly recommend George’s plumbing and their employees

Georges Heating and Cooling was incredible to work with. I started out getting in touch via email and Tina was very kind, responsive, and helpful! She also told me about their maintenance program and talked me through the process, which I greatly appreciated! I signed up immediately.

We originally had the team out to see if the AC system that came along with our house purchase could be serviced. When I told them they system was totally down, they got out here quickly. We knew the system was very old, so we were prepared to replace it. Blaine walked me through everything and we decided to just go ahead and replace it rather than trying to keep the old system running for maybe another season. Lance came out the very next day to talk us through our options and recommended a great new system. That following Monday, the team was here to work on the installation!

During all of this, I was working from home due to COVID, and the team was so respectful of noise levels and made sure to wave if they needed me if I was on a meeting so I could shut off my video and sound for a minute.

All around, everyone that we worked with during this process was super friendly, professional, and helpful. We greatly appreciate how quick they were as well as it was a VERY hot week in New Hampshire when our system was down. I look forward to working with Georges Heating and Cooling in the future for the maintenance program and if any other needs pop up.
