I can’t say enough good things about Atlantic Coastal Welding (ACW). They were highly recommended to me by my brother-in-law who runs a boatyard in the Annapolis, MD area. He uses them exclusively for fuel tanks on his many boat repair and restoration projects. I have been involved in the extensive restoration of a 1952 wooden boat that needed new custom fuel tanks and a water tank. John Gallo patiently guided me through the design process as the shape and mounting of the new tanks is much different than original. His expertise and experience with marine tanks came up with a solution that was cost effective and had an innovative mounting method. He also used welded connections in places that were able to avoid threaded connections with the long-term ability to avoid leaks. ACW is a great “one stop shop” where Tricia was able to provide me with all the necessary aluminum fittings, tank level senders/gauges, mounting rubber strips, and installation guidance to meet all USCG and ABYC requirements. They are both a pleasure to deal with. One of my tanks got damaged by the carrier during shipment and they immediately arranged for shipping it back and repairing in an expedited basis with no questions asked. The quality of the tanks is exceptional, and their epoxy coating makes the tanks a great long-term investment. The tanks fit in like a glove and have worked flawlessly in service. I had a similar positive design experience with a custom stainless steel water tank that fit my needs and John’s ideas again created a very cost-effective solution. After I received and installed the water tank, I had some problems with rust forming in the tank. From my pictures and description, they were not able to determine the exact cause, but instead of making me take out the tank and send back leaving me without a tank, they replaced the tank without question in an expedited manner. They stand by their excellent product and are committed to customer satisfaction. If you need a tank got with them!!!

They told me my tank would take 30 days when 30 days came and went I called they said oh no 30 business days so I paid an extra 350 to expedite which they didn’t do it still came almost 1 month after original date and wouldn’t give the expedite money back they also put the wrong size hole in the bottom I asked for 2.5” and got 1.5”

ACW aka Speedytanks is awesome. I had them build a custom 72 gallon tank for my 1970s era Roballo boat. They were able to lookup the exact tank specifications for the boat! The tanks craftsman ship is great! Couldnt be happier with how it turned out!

What really stands out about this company is the customer service. They help you with every aspect of the tank, from the building, through the complete installation. I had numerous questions during the install, and ACW was there to support me.

I have to specifically call out Tricia, she is amazing, she helped me along the entire process. If you call over there, make sure to ask for Tricia!
