The owner of this company came to my house accusing me of stealing his pavers. 1. He got ripped off by the person who sold his stolen goods on Facebook to my contractor. 2. I didn’t purchase the pavers directly from him, therefore am not responsible for the stolen credit card information given to him. 3. He had no issue bringing the police to my house and threatening to put a lien on my home, although once again, I DID NOT PROVIDE HIM A STOLEN CARD FOR PAYMENT. 4. He threatened my contractor, a man who’s just trying to build his business, that he would ‘go after him’ if he did not ‘pay him back by 5pm tomorrow,’ though once again, my contractor purchased these off of Facebook from the person who ACTUALLY stole the goods. (Zelle receipt and communication were provided to the police) 5. He went around to several homeowners threatening and accusing them of the same thing, WITH ALL HIS EMPLOYEES IN TOW (if they were really even his employees, or paid actors, who knows), in an attempt to embarrass them in front of their neighbors and smear their reputation.

While I don’t condone whoever did provide him the fake card, I cannot stand by and allow him to bully everyone BUT THE CULPRIT to get the money he supposedly is owed.

DO NOT USE THIS BUSINESS IF YOU DON’T WANT HIM TO THREATEN YOU, YOUR CONTRACTOR AND YOUR HOME.

There is a reason for their MANY 1-star reviews. Mike created many issues which include but are not limited to poor customer service, general lack of common sense, nonexistent communication, and extreme unprofessionalism.

I ordered top soil to be placed in a Bagster alongside the driveway. It was done this way so that I can still use the remainder of the driveway to park two cars and for ongoing landscaping/cleaning up work, (see photos). Instead, Mike moved the Bagster from the corner of the driveway to the center of the driveway and then dumped 800 lbs. of soil mostly on the pavement instead of INSIDE the Bagster.

When I confronted him about this, his responses to the issues he created were, "Your husband can do it," "Hurry up, it's going to get muddy," and, "We don't do clean up." Now I am left with more work because of his FAILURE to do his.

This has been the worst service I have ever received for landscaping needs and I won't be a returning customer. The last photo, shows Mike scurrying off after a terrible job completed. BEWARE!

Would give them 0 stars if possible, I am a contractor and used to buy a lot from them without any issue until they messed up and order and they had to return $300 to me (after being yelled by a horrible guy several times). Later on a different order, they over charged my card with delivery fees of over $300 for a pallet of pavers and a yard of base and I was quoted $200 but since they have my card on file they just charged whatever they wanted, I called and the owner yelled at me and told me he is actually saving me $60 (I don’t see how).
They have been growing a lot and their inventory is great but the horrible service and the “don’t care attitude” of the personnel and owners makes this place a horrible place to buy ?????? I am changing them for the Twin Boro, The Yard and Bartels

Unprofessional, unreliable, and unaccountable for damage to property.

An order was placed for stone-dust to this supplier. Delivery was prompt and the delivery person was amicable, UNTIL he hit my gutter when delivering the material. Although this was an accident, the person was very quick to blame me for not giving him “better” directions on the height of the gutter.

I believe it is part of their job description to be aware of the height restrictions when making the delivery and dropping off material, if uncertain, that it cannot be delivered, the driver should have advised me of the clearance issue and simply delivered the material further away from the house or not delivered it. I would have totally agreed or just hired someone else.

I have called several times (more than 10) and have spoken to managers and associates of the supplying company. They acknowledged the damage and also were very quick to say that I did not provide “Good” instructions to the driver. They agreed to assess the damage and sent a person for their internal estimate.

The assessor was also cordial and mentioned that it should be a quick fix. Once I called the company again (several times) they kept mentioning that their “gutter guy” is busy and can not get to be any time soon. After multiple attempts, I simply stopped calling, since I do not think they care or will do something about it.

I have been extremely patient and have waited an ample amount of time, but I have NOT heard back from the company in several (>4) months and have basically relied on this review to help others be mindful of this experience with Jersey Landscape and Gatden Supply

We ordered blue stone for the patio. When we purchased, we were encouraged to buy a little more since "it would be difficult to get in a hurry, if we fall short". We were assured that we could return extra material if we were left with full palettes. While the stone seems to be good, we had a full palette left. Despite the prior assurance, they refused to take it back. Very crooked.
