It was difficult to locate a quality company who would refinish my solid oak cabinets. My kitchen is unique because not only did I want my cabinets to be re-stained and not just painted white but all the woodwork, doors and molding also had to be redone since they all matched the original finish of the cabinets. Victor was extremely professional, detail oriented and took great pride in his artisanry. The color of the stain was exactly what I was looking for and it matched the woodwork despite it being completed by a different process. Even my husband who was not originally sold on the project is thrilled with the way that it turned out. Victor came back to put special pins on the hinges so that they did not bang into the wall or molding. I cannot recommend his work enough. The job was superlative!

I am so happy with our kitchen! We moved into a home that’s kitchen needed some major tlc. It wasn’t in the budget for a total renovation so we decided on a makeover. Victor and Dan literally worked their magic on our kitchen. Not only did they refinish the cabinets but some were in such disrepair that they literally had to repair and save them from falling apart. I truly can’t believe how beautifully they turned out. Several visitors have complimented that they look brand new… and they really do! Victor made a comment that ‘he is an artist and this is his canvas’. Could not be a more true statement. He is meticulous and detail oriented. We could not be happier. I recently contracted Custom Cabinet Refinishers to refinish our kitchen and laundry cabinet doors. I couldn’t be more pleased with their service. Dan and his associate Vic were a pleasure to deal with. They are very experienced with refinishing and I was confident all along the job would come out beautifully.

Initially Dan came to my house and provided a comprehensive estimate for refinishing the cabinets, 24 doors and the crown molding. However, since my project started during Covid 19, in order to avoid having folks come to our house - I decided to do the cabinet box frame refinishing myself. Dan provided a ton of excellent advice on how to do the sanding and apply the sanding sealer and final coating. He even provided me with the coating materials! Should you need to go to their shop, it is conveniently located right off the highway in Passaic.

I refinished my large kitchen in the spring of 2019. Dan and Victor were really outstanding. They are true craftsmen, and Dan gave me many suggestions which improved the flow of my kitchen which went above and beyond what he needed to do. In addition they were punctual, very clean and stayed completely on schedule and in budget. Their work was outstanding and they were a pleasure to deal with. I highly highly recommend them.
