The “director” Miguel is rude and chauvinistic. He is running this store into the ground. The language barrier makes for a difficult shopping experience and even worse, most of them do in fact speak English, they just choose not to so they don’t have to help. Sad to see what was once a great resource for our community turned into an over-priced, dump.

I love the concept of the Restore and Habitat for Humanity. I would rather spend my money at non-profit and local businesses. But when the prices are marked up higher for items than if purchased new and they refuse to negotiate, I find it disheartening and question their “well intentioned” purpose. I am a business professional and I give back to my community in various ways, but after more than a decade of shopping at the Restore and watching this store change (not for the better), I will not be returning. They have some nice folks working there (Mary mainly) but whoever is pricing needs to revisit the point of people shopping there. I wish you well Restore and hopefully you get back to the values you had when you first opened.

What even is the point of this place? The bad reviews are true. The the reviews describing lack of pricing and overpricing of items unfortunately reflects my experience. Most items are unpriced. Some items have two prices on them. Some items are priced higher than they are brand new at Home Depot or Lowes ($10 for Bonide Stump Out, which is <$9 at Home Depot; $45 for Bondo putty which is <$30 at Lowes).
Extremely disappointed because the ReStore in Lincoln, NE where I used to live was fantastic. What the heck are the people who run this place thinking? Not putting prices on things kind of defeats the point of having a store.

I bought an EXPENSIVE lught fixture sbd wad ASSURED that it had all the components, and was new, and that the box was sealed and unopened. When I got it to my job site, it was missing many parts and had writing on the warranty card with THEIR INFO! I have Left many messages. When I tried to return it in the store, they said I had to come back when the manager was in and were unsure of his hours. So I have attempted to come in a few times without success. I also noticed that if you are a young lady....HA! Forget about asking questions or getting assistance. They treat you in a very chauvinistic manner, talk down to you and do not want you wasting their time. Isn't this a charity??
And apparently because I have light skin, they think I do not understand Spanish. I am from Spain. Smh... and what was being said about me in Spanish was pretty disgusting and sad. They do not know I run crew on movie sets and construction for many restaurants here. I am sure if I put on a Lil mustache I woukd be treated like a actual HUMAN. THIS place is so sad. After today? I am calling headquarters!

How can you try to sell $4 per brick when you can get them at Home Depot for $3 per brick. she also tried selling a pic for 25.00 when you can get them brand new for 25.00 at Home Depot this is ridiculous
