I’ve been a Vivint customer for some time. I would not recommend this system at all. If anything goes wrong with the system or equipment, it is on you to assess the problem by a series of automated prompts. I was asked to get on a ladder to reset cameras. If you request a technician- you will be asked to pay a $99 technician fee. I have paid an additional warranty fee for equipment, but yet I was still asked to purchase new equipment when faulty equipment was discovered. My outdoor camera went out - but apparently my warranty will not cover it because I was told it was too old for the warranty. Initially I was told that all of the equipment would be covered no matter the age. Highly dissatisfied and discouraged. Should have went with RING a long time ago!

Door to door salesman coming by 3 times in one afternoon and ignoring the no solicitation sign each time. Finally on the 3rd time I ask him if he noticed it and his responses was I thought it said no solar, then continued trying to solicit business afterwards. If a company's associate can't read a sign with a few words a certainly am not trusting them with any contracts, or security.

This company has no respect for neighborhood no-soliciting policies. The sales rep Tin Ho came to our house three different times in a few hours. When asked to leave, he refused. I expect Tin Ho is just a pawn and the real problem is with this company that does not care. I would love to find out how they are able to ignore neighborhood no-soliciting policies.
Their address is listed as 2720 Central Ave SE and the street-view photo from May 2024 has "For Rent" signs in the windows.

Dylan the sales rep, lied about what I was paying as well as it affecting my credit, when I told him I want to cancel he responded with that not his job. When I asked for customer service number he stop responding. I had to find it myself... Fast-forward to finally finding the number on my own the guy, Who helped explain alot better what I signed up for. But pretty much told me I would have to pay 1,800 to end early as well as I still have to pay for the equipment which is $3000 Dylan never told me about that!. When I told them to come get there supply they said I'm only allowed to down grade only, Just a horrible company. I wish I had looked up the reviews ahead of time everything everyone say is true even them showing up at 9 pm and continue to come back over and over.

Kind of a bummer that these guys have such a bad rap on these reviews - I wanted a home security system I could rely on and I have that. We got really cheap rates, the cameras aren't that expensive when you can have a line of credit and pay off your system over time, the techs have all been friendly and helpful and have given good heads ups when they're on their way, we have had almost no issues and the peace of mind I have when it notifies me if anyone comes to the door or if my garage door was left open is excellent. We have had no troubles (we also have not tried canceling which, per these reviews, sounds like when the issues can arise).
