Amazing inspector! Black bear inspections will inspect any house you are interested in with a fine tooth comb! They are professional, and time efficient. I felt like the inspectors priority was completely in line with my priorities. Seeing that time he spent and went through the house with such diligence put my mind at ease. Buying a home when you don't live in the local area and can't see the property first-hand is a process filled with uncertainty. Based on a recommendation from our realtor we chose Black Bear to do our home inspection and we couldn't be happier with the results. Brian was timely, professional, and thorough. His web interface is top-notch and easy to use. The inspection report is well-organized and easy to quickly read and interpret.

Brian did a wonderful job of annotating everything, but the real value is his assessments is his ability to prioritize and communicate the "really important" items and what might be "nice to correct". Given our unique buying situation and inability to see the property in-person these professional opinions provided additional peace of mind for our family.

I've mentioned the well-organized report already, but what truly set's Brian apart is his ability to communicate. After I read the report, I called Brian and we talked through everything. His pragmatic approach to the findings was insightful and really helped us to understand our house!
