My husband hired Jay’s Carpet Cleaning to clean our carpet and marble flooring because they were reasonably priced, received good reviews, and he thought they were home based in our area. We had recently lost our son and I did not have the strength or energy to clean our grout before Christmas and he thought he was doing me a favor. In hindsight he didn’t realize the reviews were mostly for carpet cleaning. After seeing what Jay’s Carpet Cleaning did to our marble floor, I cried at how terrible it looked and the wasted $700 and promptly cancelled the carpet cleaning. This company should not be touching any marble or natural stone flooring. They left behind work boot prints and large smudges and smears that could not be washed off. Our floor never looked so bad, it looked perpetually dirty. Never did I think that my floor would look worse after having it professionally cleaned. When I had Jay come back to look at how bad it was, he at first seemed flabbergasted and then he claimed it was all the old dirt rising to the surface and that it would cost $10,000 to polish it out. We hired Silver State Floor Restoration to fix what Jay’s CC did to our floor. The technician for Silver State knew exactly what the problem was. Because he is trained and certified to work on marble flooring. He said whatever solution Jay’s CC used removed the finish and opened up the surface pores and caused it to be even more susceptible to staining. They pointed out an area in the kitchen that if Jay had left his solution on any longer, it would have eaten away the marble. They suspect he added too much acid to his solution. Silver State was able to lighten or remove many of the old stains and they polished our floor to a beautiful shine.

FIVE OUT OF FIVE STARS! I spilled printer ink on my carpet (pictures attached) and called around different carpet cleaning services in town and they all said they wouldn't be able to get it out, or that they wouldn't be able to get it out completely, or that I would have to pay hundreds of dollars to have my carpet removed. I ended up calling Jay's Carpet Cleaning and they showed up quick and cleaned it. I have attached before and after pictures of the carpet stain to this review. Go with these guys, they know what they are doing. Saved me possibly hundreds of dollars and the carpet looks normal again.

Overall

I never imagine he could repair everything like a new carpet. I had roommate move out with destroy carpet and two burns. I called him in last min, he came so fast and did awesome job.
