Overall

We had our deck replaced early in May. The Deck by Design crew of Al, James and Kris did a great job. They arrived on time and got right to work. All three of them were very hard workers. They were diligent and conscientious, taking their time to carefully make sure everything was measured correctly. Kris did a great job building the new steps. Those steps will last forever. We decided to go with the Moisture Shield decking and have been pleased with the product. Overall it was a job well done.

Excellent work by Paul Jr and his team! We are returning customers, they did a front porch for us a few years ago and when we were ready to do our back yard we knew just who to call! They did a very large paver project in our back yard last week. It looks amazing! They helped level out our existing yard that had drainage problems and build up a privacy fence for our hot tub. The paver patio looks incredible, beautiful pattern and lovely stone steps!! The boys were on time every morning, and cleaned up the work space every night! Left nothing behind! Very polite and kept us informed along the way! I would highly recommend Decks By Design and we will be using them again!

We met Paul Sr. at the Buffalo Home Show and scheduled for Decks by Design to come out and create a game plan around a 16ft x 16ft deck. At every step of the build, Decks by Design was ready to answer any questions we had and inform us on the status and progress of each subtask.

They built an awesome deck ahead of schedule and the finished product instantly became the envy of my neighbors. The crew was on point, respectful, hard working and cleaned up any mess at the end of each day. The whole entire process was so smooth and easy. No hassle, not having to wonder about anything that could negatively impact the build.

I sat back and watched as the Decks by Design Team executed their craft to perfection. Thank you Paul Sr., Paul Jr., and the rest of the staff who came together to make this possible!

I had decks by design do my deck in the summer of 2021. It was a big project 740 sqft with two levels. My wife is a very picky person and Paul Sr was very patient in the design process with her, designing the perfect deck for our space. When it came time for construction they did the posts on a Friday. On Monday they showed up with a crew of six guys at 8am. Paul Jr, the owners son ran the crew. The week had miserable weather and they worked through it, sometimes 10 hours a day, finishing by the end of the week. They cleaned up everything and we couldn’t have asked for better results. Everything about the construction was done meticulously right down to every little miter cut. I would highly recommend Decks by Design to anyone looking to do business with a family owned company who does quality work for an affordable price.
