Dream Baths completed a renovation of my master bathroom in April. While we are relatively happy with the end result, it was a very long and frustrating process. It took about 5 months to start our renovation from the date we signed the contract and paid our deposit, and the renovation took another 5 months to complete, which was certainly a longer timeline than we expected. A couple delays were due to changes we decided to make (like switching up our fixtures in the shower), but the majority of delays were due to issues on Dream Baths’ end. Some of the issues we insisted that they fix (e.g., unevenly installed tile floor), while others we just decided to live with (e.g., the makeup vanity being installed at a height that didn’t allow for either a counter height stool or a table height stool).

Throughout the process, we generally found Dream Baths’ employees to lack in communication, flexibility, and accountability. We were ok with paying $60,000 for a fairly straightforward renovation with the expectation that we would receive the highest level of customer service, professionalism and expertise. There were many instances along the way where Dream Baths fell far short of our expectations, but none more so than when the designer working on our project stormed out of our home in the middle of a discussion about the issues we were having with the renovation. Rather than receiving an apology or acknowledgement of his rude behavior from the company, I had to contact the owner directly (and follow up with him when I received no response), to let him know that we have a serious issue with how our renovation has been handled and will no longer work with that designer.

I would caution anyone who is thinking about working with Dream Baths to understand that their way of doing business is to take little to no accountability for things that go wrong, and to look for any way to blame and deflect on to the customer. I would recommend keeping very good records and notes from discussions with their employees that you’re able to reference later when issues inevitably arise.

In June of 2019 I pursued companies for hire to completely re-model my master bathroom that included a garden tub (which took up a lot of space). A giant plus that initially drew me to Dream Baths was the large showroom, which gave me several ideas to build upon what my proposed ‘rough ‘template of what I wanted to include in the new bath.
Courtney Maher was my designer & she spent a lot of time listening to my ideas of what I wanted. She took my concepts & put them on paper in addition with her designer expertise to produce a new bathroom that is beyond what I expected! There were times that I was hesitant to pull the trigger on certain items but she assured me I would not be disappointed with the final result…..She was right!
Chris Spade & his team were in constant contact with me (i.e. phone & email) over every step of my project, making sure all actions outside the scope of service was approved by the homeowner (a mandatory raising of the floor for the walk-in shower provided to me at no cost); This was in addition to my new bath taking place during the current health crisis we are currently living in.
My new bathroom is beyond what I originally expected as it has a timeless look with a masculine appeal. This fits my original idea in addition to a walk-in first take that screams of professionalism from a designer perspective!
I HIGHLY recommend Dream Baths as consideration for anyone in search of a company for a re-model. They are financially competitive with other companies & are not finished with a project until the most important person in the process is satisfied; the client.
