An amazing company with amazing quality of work!

When we bought our home in 2019, we knew we would want to remodel the small, somewhat dysfunctional, standard 1970s Muirfield kitchen floorplan. We are so proud of the beautiful work that the team at SemBro completed for us this year.

Whenever you do a big remodel, they always say you can have two of the three (time, price, quality), but never all three. With SemBro, I beg to differ. SemBro finished on time (to the day), on budget (with the exception of one of our chosen upgrades), and with custom cabinetry, a giant, gorgeous Cambria island slab (my upgrade!), and solid oak floors. (Time - CHECK. Price - CHECK. Quality - CHECK.)

The team members that were temporarily part of our family during a winter kitchen remodel for 8 weeks were kind, efficient, clean and respectful of our space. Which was important, because we have two full time jobs and two little kids. There was a lot going on! And we stayed in our home during the remodel.

Our PM, Ben, was on top of everything. He was reachable by email or phone days and weekends. He was constantly on the job site, answering questions and ensuring things were moving smoothly. We had one hiccup and reached a stalemate. This was the moment of truth, for me. The next morning, Ben, the GM, and AGM all showed up promptly to discuss the issue and review what needed to be done. Within 5 days, our bar was stripped and rebuilt, at no expense to us. It was clear to us that they wanted this project to be a success as much as we did.

We are so glad that we chose SemBro to remodel our kitchen. The people, quality, price, customer service and guarantee cannot be beat. If you're considering any type of major remodel, you can't go wrong.

We had the pleasure of working with Sembro Designs for our main floor remodel! After interviewing 5 remodeling companies, we felt that no other company could compare to customer focused experience that we had with Sembro.

Roman came to our house to visit our space, hear our ideas, and to take measurements. We then met with him in their outstanding showroom/office space in Hilliard to go over the design. After a few design reviews/revisions, we settled on a layout and then the fun continued in selections, and implementation!

Daniel, our project manager, was extremely kind, patient, communicative and helpful when it came to adjusting the design plan or recommending a certain finish on the walls/floors, etc. He orchestrated our demo and install to be completed in a mere 8 weeks and the timeline was flawless. Whenever there was a concern, delivery or major decision to be made on the project, Daniel was on the job site.

The craftsmanship, attention to detail, cleanliness and politeness of the whole crew is unmatched! Each employee we encountered was a pleasure to work with including Sergiy, Sasha, Pavlo, Alex, Igor, Diana, and of course Daniel and Roman. We look forward to partnering with them again in the future for additional home projects! Highly recommend!

SemBro Designs is a joy to work with, all around, and from day 0 to the final walk through!

When we met our lead designer, Daniel S., we knew we'd found people and a crew we wanted to work with on our kitchen/1st floor remodel in our new-to-us home. Daniel asked questions, collaborated with us, and was honest and direct but kind when our lofty ideas weren't necessarily practical. Diana C. helped us pick out materials that really fit the style and vibe we were going for, and has such a keen eye for design that would "age well" vs being too trendy.

Once the project began, Anatoliy O. kept the trains running on time, he answered all our calls and texts promptly and proactively communicated with us on timelines, and any issues that cropped up along the way. After demo, there were a few issues that cropped up that needed to be addressed, and both Daniel and Anatoliy worked with us on options to meet the goals of the design, and even worked out an alternative install for some custom shelving that didn't quite fit in in the final design. We established a really great rapport with Anatoliy in particular - even so far as communicating to each other in memes and gifs towards the end of the project. We think it was his first project he managed, but we could not tell at all; everything ran so smoothly and the project ended on the exact day SemBro said it would when we set the schedule three months in advance!

The crew doing the work, as well as the subcontractors, were all just so amazing, too! Sasha, Dima, Pavlo, Igor, Anna... Such incredible craftmanship and super-high quality work. Not to mention kind, respectful, and tidied up at the end of every work day. The flooring in particular looks incredible; Pavlo painstakingly sanded and fixed every creak in the 40 year old sub-flooring before laying the hardwood. Sasha's quickness did not undermine the perfection in our cabinetry, bathroom vanity, range hood, and appliance installations whatsoever. Dima did so many different jobs, an all around utility player ready to jump in and help with anything. Nikola was the gentleman who installed our backsplash and tile. He was so kind and engaging with our kiddo who was super curious about the job being done, and you'd have to hunt with a magnifying glass for any flaw in the tiling.

We love our new kitchen so much, and have all the gratitude for SemBro and their entire team. We are definitely looking forward to our next project with them - our master bath!

First I would like to thank Alina (Designer/project manager) for her work on this project. From the moment she came over to hear my design ideas, she was very understanding and receptive to my onslaught of requirements and must-haves. The design came back extremely fast and had everything I wanted and more. She was able to make a small kitchen seem bigger while getting more countertop and cabinet space. When it came to adjusting the services to get cost down, they are very open to doing certain things yourself. In my case we did the demolition, painting ourselves, and hired my own electrician. Sembro put allotted time in the schedule to allow for this work to be done while also sticking to the schedule. The Sembro builders were punctual and professional and they didn’t mind me constantly pestering them (I was interested in the process as someone who contemplated doing the whole remodel myself). But to really drive the point home Alina was relentlessly hounded with questions by myself with things such as “So is this schluter good for the tile? Is this tile going to cost more? Do you like this granite or this quartz? This light switch is too high, how can we accommodate it in the design? What kind of grout do I need?” and she handled it with grace. The app they use to manage the project is very useful in reminding you when you need to have things provided for builders such as the sink, faucet, countertops on order, backsplash tiles, etc. as well as for messaging and knowing when you will have builders in your home. Overall the project came out just above budget, but to be fair that was due to my own choices in material, and unexpected work due to having a very very old house. Overall I am very pleased with the experience and I would recommend Sembro. They say a picture is worth a thousand words, so here are a few to see the end result.
