I’ve dealt with these people for the last month and a half. My first encounter was a letter that was sent to my house. It stated I had two violations. The letter said, “an inspection was done February 6, 2023 and two zoning violations were found", It threaten me with fines and prosecution! WOW, at least let me try to correct it first before you threaten me! In the letter, it stated I had until "January 27, 2023 to correct the two violations" I said that correctly! Which TWO letters as a matter of fact, said the same identical thing. The two letters pretty much tell me they were trying to fine and prosecute me from the beginning. It's sad because they bite the hand that feeds them. Franklin County Economic Development attacked me as well other neighbors over petty concerns in the worst possible time with inflation out of control. Great job Franklin County kick us while we're down. Also keep increasing our property taxes, run us right out homes.

They don't answer the phone, I have been waiting more that a year for a zoning permit

I live on a cul-de-sac with a bad nosy Neighbor And I attempted to put up A piece of seven foot fence at the side of my house Or the driver to block her but They wouldn't allow me to do that but ignored that They expanded their driveway from a one car to a two car driveway W/O a permit Right on the Property line Using their 70 year old zoning Laws They harass you Prosecutors will harrass you just because Your fence is seven foot tall not six it's ridiculous where is absolutely nothing Progressive about this agency. They want $350 just so they can deny your zoning request and they most likely will SCAM
