The windows themselves are a good product. Caulking was done properly, and Roberto was very kind. When we called to find out the timeline for installation, they were actually already in.? The installation was messy. Walls were smeared and our newly mulched flower beds were littered with sawdust with edging messed up. After the first day of install we picked up glass and screws from our driveway and the street. The windows were not smudge-free and all needed cleaned. The order process and measuring was top notch. Overall, our only grievance was the treatment of our property.

We researched for months and decided to go with APCO due to their customer service and allowing us to continually ask numerous questions about our siding and gutter project. Our sales person Josh went out of his way many times to help us. Our project field supervisor Jay Holbrook was amazing and so was John at the main office. Jay went above and beyond in all areas and everything went smoothly and was very attentive to our needs and the needs of his crew, led by Esteban Moreno. Esteban‘s crew was efficient and amazing with hints of OCD which we loved. Having the gutters put on by Chase, Tristan and Eric was the final touch of the project.
We are very happy with the results of everything and feel as if we have a new home. We would highly recommend APCO for all of your housing needs.

APCO: Consultation was great. The woman who came to the house was friendly, personable and relatable. Used 21st century technology to have me pick what I wanted by seeing pictures, reading descriptions and emailed me my quote with pictures and specs. Told me doors are about 4-6 weeks out. (Got them in 5)

Competitor: Consultation was weird. Came into the house, realized he forgot something in the car. Told me doors are 4-6 months out. Which is odd, because they use the same vendor to custom make the doors. And the quote was done with paper and pencil. Couldn't even read his writing. Not a good look for a potential first time customer.

Prices were comparable. APCO may have been a smidge higher than said competitor, but we chose to go with APCO. The project manager (PM) came out to measure again, it was quick and painless. As stated above, was told it would be about 4-6 weeks out, but they actually arrived in 5. The PM told me they were in and he made scheduling an install date easy. The crew arrived when he said they would, 9am, and for three doors and a storm door, they were done and cleaned up by 3pm. It's only been a week, but so far, I have no complaints.

I will say that I was not expecting the door from the kitchen to the garage to be so heavy that it won't stay open. So, to combat that we ordered some door stoppers. We have dogs and like to leave that door open so they can go out on their own.

I would recommend APCO to anyone who inquires about new doors. This was a much better experience than I had with the company who did our three season room.

I requested a quote from APCO in February to replace 10 windows on the first floor of my home.

The representative who I met with, David, was excellent. No gimmicky sales tactics, just straight to the point. None of those huge pamphlets or made-for-TV explanations. He simply explained the process, showed an example window, explained how payment worked, and when I could expect an install. APCO's quote was one of the lowest of all I received.

The measuring appointment was likewise straightforward. Jason was prompt and courteous and estimated 6-8 weeks until install.

There were no delays in the time between the measuring appointment and the projected installation date. Installation only took a day, just as estimated from the beginning of the process. I believe the lead installer's name was Roberto; I wish I could remember it so I could think him properly! They did a great job cleaning up and I had no messes in my home.

The office staffer I worked with at APCO, Amanda, was always quick to reply to any emails I sent. Greatly appreciate her bearing with some of my wordy questions.

The windows themselves are quite nice. They're very functional and easy to clean. I've not observed any defects or problems with the installation, which is fantastic given the hunk of junk windows that were there before. I've also monitored my energy usage since the install date and found my A/C is running less than it typically would in the warmer weather we've been having.

All-in-all, these windows are a solid product for a great price. The windows look good and are helping my home slowly, but surely, look better than before. APCO was easy to work with and did a nice job with no surprises. Not much more you can ask for.

EDIT: In the 4 months since the original review, some of the issues have been addressed thankfully. I have removed those pictures. However, I'm still trying to finish up the job and it appears some of the poor finishing work is just going to have to have to be accepted as shown in the pictures below. Perhaps dragging out the remedy until we gave up was part of the plan, but it's highly frustrating. We have dealt with plumbers, garage door companies, and irrigation companies since the original installation and all of them have been better to work with and more responsive to issues. After the original outreach from the review 4 months ago, I'm back to being a squeaky wheel to get the job remedied. It's frustrating. I'm dropping down one star.

We had almost all of our windows replaced recently with Marvin Windows at the cost of almost 100k. The end result has been underwhelming. The finish of the windows and the defects created during installation are numerous and still unresolved after close to three months. The installation crew were very friendly and the supervisor has continually assured me our concerns will be addressed, however I seem to have had to taken over project management and quality control inspection in order to continually push my case. I've attached current photos of our windows and have many more. I would not recommend the process or outcome at this time.

I purchased a dozen Marvin windows, a door and a storm door.
First, a salesperson visited me at my home, listened to my remodeling needs, reviewed and advised me.
Second, when a decision was made to go forward the salesperson came back to take detailed measurements.
* The product was delivered ahead of time. (8 weeks instead of 12).
* On the first day of installation, a truck delivered the windows, another vehicle delivered a dumpster, and then a crew of 5 installers arrived.
* They finished the job in 2 and half days. The crew was professional, courteous, efficient, competent and all around, a pleasure to have around.

The Marvin windows were installed flawlessly.... and quickly.
I am so happy and satisfied with the recommendations from the salesperson and the choices we made I consider the windows more than just top of the line windows but also a work of art!!

It has been a refreshing experience.... once ordered, I never had to contact anyone. Everything was preplanned and executed perfectly.
