Overall

If I could give this company less than one star I would, we started our build in 2021, and it has been nothing short of a nightmare, from poor communication, staff screaming at me, deception, outright lies, incompetence, and ineptitude, I’ve experienced it all with these people, they are in violation of their own contract as well as a demand letter, yet I still don’t have a complete house, what I have is a 30 year note on shoddy and incomplete work and a company that doesn’t want to to anything about it except say they will fix and install the things we’re missing and false advertise online and at conventions, I am owed a complete home built by a company with a “legacy of fine craftsmanship,” as they portray themselves to be, I am also owed money for in warranty items that I repaired due to the pressure tank failing. I need the electrical, flooring, drywall, and cabinet issues fixed. I need my porches to be finished (part of the demand letter), and I need them to fix whatever is causing sewer gas to enter my house, that’s right sewer gas, which a health hazard, and they’ve known about it for about two years. Do yourself and anyone you know a favor and DO NOT USE THESE PEOPLE.

Before reaching out to Turner & Son Homes, it's crucial to understand your budget and desired square footage. They typically charge a minimum of $200 per square foot, so for a 1,600 square foot home with land preparation, expect to pay between $360,000 to $390,000.

Once Turner & Son Homes contacts your bank and learns your budget, they may pressure you to sign a $4,000 contract even if your desired home falls outside your budget. This tactic is similar to how car dealerships operate, where they entice you with financing and then inflate the final price.

Unlike car dealerships where you can walk away without cost, Turner & Son Homes won't disclose their final price until you've invested money through their contract. This can be misleading and frustrating. Consider requesting a written or emailed confirmation of their base price per square foot before proceeding.
