Update: OKC office isn't actually the office for my area. However, I was contacted by their Regional manager and offered a solution to my issues. I will update (or delete) my review rating once it has been followed through.

Don't let the sales rep fool you! I REALLY wish that I had checked the reviews before getting financed and signing contracts. I don't know how the other solar companies operate but NIVO is absolutely unorganized! There needs to be some sort of clause that gives YOU protection from them. It's been nearly 2 months since my installation day and my system still isn't operational. The 1st installation wasn't done according to the specifications set forth by my electric company. I had spoken (in person) to the tech who installed the disconnect and told him that it must be outside of my backyard because I have dogs. He said that he hadn't been told of this from his superiors but that he was aware of the requirement. You'd think (I thought) that he intended to do the installation as specified by my electric company but he DID NOT! I immediately texted the number of the NIVO person from the Interconnections department but didn't receive any reply.
I understood that it would take some time to get the approval to operate from my electric company so I waited a month. I tried the number again and still no response. So I called the customer service number for NIVO. I was told that there was paperwork that I hadn't signed. I knew I had signed everything that was sent to me. The customer service rep said that she was putting in a request for the missing paperwork to be emailed to me. I hadn't received it over a week later. So I called again. This time I was able to determine that I had indeed signed this paperwork and emailed it to them. I still hadn't heard back from them another week later. So I emailed them my complaint. I started receiving emails and texts from different people/departments of NIVO within a couple of days. I received a date for another tech to come move the location of the disconnect. The hiccup this time was a placard that they were sending to my address via USPS. It didn't arrive before my appointment. So I was told to notify them when I received the placard and another date will be set.
Why wouldn't their techs have this placard with them?! Oddly, I had a tech here on the date of my appointment. Though I was no longer expecting him I was thrilled that he showed up! He moved the disconnect and drove 3 hrs round-trip to get the placard. He mounted the placard and left. I thought I was finally all set to get the approval from my electric company. No!
A few days later I received a text asking if I was ready to schedule for a tech to come move the disconnect. I replied that it had been completed. I was then asked to send pictures of the new placement w/ placard. I was a little peeved that I was asked this... again I had to ask myself, "why didn't the tech take care of this?". I sent the pictures. A couple of days later I received another text asking for my availability for ANOTHER tech to come to my house because the placard had been mounted in the wrong place ?‍♀️
I called the customer service number again. She took down my complaint and gave her apologies for the inconveniences. Apologies just aren't good enough when my payment for the loan is coming up soon and I have nothing stored from my solar panels. Now I'll be in the same boat as so many others, making payments for both traditional electricity and my loan ?

Overall

I have 2 No Soliciting signs yet I have had 3 guys knock on my door telling me they are not selling anything. I have repeatedly said we are not interested. Yet they come back and ignore the 2 signs. One gave the old speech about several neighbors being thrilled with them. Had I even been mildly interested, they are not BBB accredited and have lots of bad reviews so I would never have even entertained a meeting with them.

So far, the overall experience has been fantastic. Cameron has been great. He answered all our questions, is knowledgeable, respectful, And kind. He made us feel comfortable through the process, kept us informed on everything, and was happy to help us in any way. The solar panels are beautiful. They're sleek and look great on our roof. The installation was smooth with zero issues, and the installation team were all friendly and professional taking good care of our home. I love that Nivo Solar offers financing and reasonable monthly payments that are lower than most power bills.

When Nivo originally came knocking on my door, I originally told them that I wasn't interested in solar and explained to them why. This is when they explained to me that they weren't like other solar companies and they offer an option of providing solar without having to finance them. After hearing them out and seeing what they had to offer on black and white, I couldn't turn it down. My representative was Thomas Dunlap, and I must say he's a very professional, friendly person. He was honest with me from the get-go. He even took the time out of his day to play a game of chess with me. The installation process went smoothly and only took a half day. Overall I must say that thus far I am impressed with this company and their employees. Thomas, thank you for a positive experience!

Absolutely great company, Nivo and especially Cameron have been absolutely great. All my questions are answered Cameron well informed us on the process and everything we need to know about solar power with them. And not only that everything went so smoothly and quickly. If there is any issue they would immediately come and check it out. Definitely recommend.
