BE ADVISED: MAKE SURE YOUR WINDOW AIR CONDITIONERS WILL FIT IN YOUR NEW THERMAL WINDOWS BEFORE PURCHASING. MINE DIDN'T!! I had already removed the window air conditioning units for the winter. Thermal windows have a larger outer frame/small window opening & my window units will not fit, even a small 8,000 btu unit. My bad for not thinking about this before I had the windows installed. Now I have to buy expensive air conditioners that are specially made for small window openings.

While attempting to clean my thermal windows I nearly removed the bottom panel. I call Thermal Windows and they sent Thomas out within an hour. He re-aligned the window and checked out every other window in the house finding a few more needing adjustment. He was very friendly and thorough and gave me advice on lubricating them which was very easy and beneficial. I couldn't be happier. I've had my windows for around 15 years.

I throughly enjoyed my time and experience working at Thermal Windows. Very generous and kind individuals, whom were a second family. Work is interesting and complex. As well as engaging. I would strongly recommend them for their products and work experience!

Thermal Windows did a great job replacing my windows and sliding glass doors a few years ago, so when I added new windows, i asked for their referral for the construction portion. The combined team, along with my electrician and drywall/paint contractor were careful, well-coordinated and considerate throughout the project. And I LOVE my new windows and the beautiful light they add.

See a revision of the following review below.
Spent hours visiting the store, then back home measuring 20 windows, then returning to the store with the data and requesting a quote. Waited. Never heard back. Called twice and was told they would get back to me. Terrible customer service. Beware.
Initially gave a one star. Later found out that the salesperson was sick, so not her fault, but rather indicating a deficiency in communication between the phone receptionist and the customer. Subsequently, there has been good communication and the salesperson is very experienced and knowledgeable, giving me confidence in the company. Five stars so far. Am ordering, and will update after the windows arrive.

We bought Thermal windows as per the advice of our builder. We have only had issues with all larger opening windows. Currently the kitchen window is all but impossible to open. but it closes easily. The internal tensioner tension is set wrong. The guest bedroom window has come off of its track, and would not function as an emergency egress in case of fire. The window was damaged by people from Thermal windows when they were here and left suddenly, stating they were called to an emergency at another location. They did not report to us that they had damaged the window before they left. Thermal windows all of a sudden became very attentive after we posted a poor review previously. But now they have not gotten back to use after we have reported issues with the bedroom opening window and the kitchen window after three weeks of reporting it to them. The pictures below, are pictures taken this morning. This is ice on the windows that has accumulated with the current deep freeze. Thermal windows claims that there is a thermal break between the outside of the inside. This is how effective the thermal break is! We have ice accumulated on the metal surfaces. We may have to pay for new windows from Anderson or Pella who make a much better window. Buyer beware!!!

I had Thermal Windows make the windows for the house I live in 10 years ago. Custom made. Price was great and windows fit perfectly and I’ve had no problems.
Last year I had to gut a house and remodel so I could sell it. I had seem these ads on television from a major window maker and install company. A salesman came out, gave a sales pitch .Before he left he gave me a price over $33,000 to make and install the windows.
I then called Thermal Windows. For less than 1/3rd of the price from the major company, I got custom designed ( by me ) windows delivered and installed. And these are not plastic or “composite “ framed windows. They are aluminum and glass. And they fit perfectly.
I will always recommend Thermal Windows.
But give them plenty of notice before you need your windows. There is a waiting list.

We had all windows and one door on our house replaced. Thermal’s prices were better and we liked the idea of keeping it local. Communication of the hows/whens/wheres/whys was very good throughout the install. Thermal took care of every issue we brought up during and after install. We highly recommend them.

Long overdue review. I ordered four windows with the intention of doing the rest of my home over time (Windows are expensive). When the crew arrived for installation, I honestly didn't know what to look for was to what was a good install. I paid them for the windows and thought all was well. It was only when my drywall crew started to work sometime later in my project, that I found out the problem. When shown the gaps I had with air blowing in and out when I realized this shoddy job. I couldn't figure out why I was getting wasps and other insects in the house during this time. The windows were not correct size with gaps of 3/4-1" at the top. When I called Thermal, I was told the sales person who had done the measuring was no longer with the company. Thermal windows managers came out to take a look. They all agreed that those windows shouldn't have been installed and that the sales person had mis measured, and that the job was badly done. The managers only offered to "shim" the gap with wood instead of replacing the windows that were too short all together. I understand the need for some small gap for expansion and contraction but not a gap this large. They told me when I was ready for my other windows they would address it. Needless to say I never had them out again. In my opinion with gaps that big, the windows should have been remade and replaced. I had a bad experience and recommend to avoid.
