I was fortunate enough to get David Zarzycki as a contractor for a water damage issue at my home. Each and every person I dealt with as part of the project was absolutely stellar, including Mr. Zarzycki. Everyone who worked on my home was professional, respectful, punctual, and personable. Each part of the project was completed to the highest standards. I have recommended this company to several people already and, should I need a contractor in the future, it will be David Zarzycki. I am so impressed with this company and all those associated with it.

My husband and I purchased a fixer upper home in Eugene that had not been properly maintained for several years, and David Zarzycki and his staff and subcontractors did an excellent job of repairing and upgrading the property for us.

David is experienced and knowledgeable and helped us prioritize work. I found him to be amazingly patient and helpful with the process of deciding on a new design for the kitchen. We felt very confident in his advice about what to keep verses what to replace in the house, and never felt pressured.

David's office staff were very supportive and helpful with making the many decisions that had to be made about counters, appliances, light fixtures, paint colors, and much more. When I was stressed about choosing the exterior paint color, Sarah applied several samples and then even obtained a perfect, custom "midway" color when I didn't feel 100% happy with any of the off-the-shelf options.

David's job foreman, Bob, is wonderful! He knows how to do just about anything and he takes pride in his work. Even when I was not in town, he was great about communicating with me about decisions that needed to be made. This was the first time I have fully remodeled a house and so I was not an expert on anything about it. I loved the way Bob was willing to give me his opinion when I asked for it.

My husband and I are both very satisfied with our experience working with David Zarzycki and his crew, and with the results of the remodel. We highly recommend them.

I wish I found David Zarzycki sooner! We started kitchen remodel with a different contractor who turned out unable to get the job done. But I had a very tight timeline and was so worried how we could finish in time. My friends recommended David. David responded promptly. He was so kind to agree to take on the job right way. We were so relieved. David and his carpenter Johnny executed the job with great attention to detail. Johnny's craftsmanship was simply amazing! Thank you David and Johnny! I would strongly recommend David Zarzycki and his team to anyone.

Overall

David Zarzycki and his wonderful crew designed and built our 1800 sq ft artist studio. We have never worked with a contractor so dedicated to fulfilling all of our many criteria for a structure. We have since had David and his marvelous band of talented workers and subcontractors work on several projects on our property. We cannot recommend David Zarzycki enough and we are looking forward to using him again in the future!

"Excellent" from start to finish. David and Pete promptly responded to our request for a bid to construct a gabled roof over our back patio.

(By the way, they were one of only two of six contractors that I'd contacted at the Home Show that followed up; the second contractor visited the site and looked at the plans and said he'd provide an estimate in two weeks - never did hear back from him. One other contractor asked us to mail him a copy of the plans. Attempted to contact that contractor twice after I did so but with no response.)

They provided an estimate for plans I'd submitted to them but, more importantly, they recommended design changes based on their experience and what we wanted and that we agreed would make for a better finished product.

My wife and I had researched Houzz website looking for pictures of the patio gabled roof that we wanted constructed but were unable to find pictures of what we actually wanted. They arranged a meeting with one of their clients that they had constructed a similar roof and us for us to see how the finished product would look. We are thankful they took the extra time and were able to observe the camaraderie as well between the prior customers and the Zarzycki staff person. It was easy to see that they too were satisfied customers.

They worked directly with the City of Springfield planning department on several of the changes to get the plans approved and the building permit issued.

They worked with us to schedule the work just prior to getting our entire home re-roofed.

They communicated well regarding what work was and was not included in the contract. They let me know well in advance what work I needed to do to prepare the site for the beginning of the work.

They started the project as agreed to. Both employees, Kurt and Dominic, constructed the gabled patio cover roof. Both demonstrated a workman like manner in completing the tasks necessary to complete the project in a timely and professional manner - we love the finished product.

I did have one change order where I requested additional work outside the scope of the original contract. The price for materials and labor was reasonable.

They kept the work area clean and neat and tidied up the work area as the work progressed and upon completion and left us with a beautiful finished product.

I highly recommend David Zarzycki General Contractor for any construction project.
