I had a brake cylinder piston on my classic car. I was told it would be 40.00 dollars and 2 weeks. I was called 1 week later that is was done. I went to pickup the part, he charged me 10.00 dollars. Plus he machined the outside perfectly. Super friendly guy, great work and great price. He does not weld aluminum . Only steel. I wish he did, I have alot of stuff to weld aluminum.

Needing a small clean-up/weld project completed, this morning I Googled fab shops in GP. Based on the most excellent reviews for Ed Cruz, I sought him out right away. Not only did he accomplish this task for me, while I waited, the price charged was more than reasonable (as all the reviews state!)
Just as, or more, important: this gentleman has a great spirit and energy about him, and possessing a wonderful sense of humor - much, much needed in this chaotic world. There was an absolutely delightful exchange between us during my 15 minutes at his shop.
He felt like an old friend!

I had a special request in that I needed the wheel centers of my wheels enlarged to fit an new axle being installed at a local shop. Mr Cruz went to the repair shop, got the wheels, enlarged the holes, and returned them to the shop the same day, all for a very reasonable price. Very high quality work too.

Edward Cruz absolutely saved us last summer, and turned a possibly horrible travel experience into a minor inconvenience. While travelling through Grant's Pass on our summer vacation, our travel trailer rear axel mount broke off the frame, stopping us from driving any further. It was very hot, and we were on a schedule to be somewhere. Ed had us fixed up in a couple of hours for a VERY reasonable cost, and did fantastic work! Very personable and professional! Highly recommended!

Ed was a pleasure to work with. I asked him if he could help design and build a custom rack for over my truck bed. He took the time to help me with consultation free of charge. He then offered to fix my front bumper and said I could pay him for it later with the rack. I told him I was in a bit of a rush, and Ed had it done in 2 days total. I was actually late to pick it up. The craftsmanship was excellent: he built it exactly how I imagined it. He went over the hours we talked about and didn't charge me (for the bumper either), and he spent over an hour helping me fasten it to my truck bed. Super nice guy: highly recommended. Thanks Ed, it is working out great!
