I had a new roof and all new gutters and downspouts installed by H & L Roofing. I am beyond pleased. They were fast, efficient and competent, as well as knowledgeable about best materials and roofing practices for the challenging coastal climate. They were excellent at problem solving and clearly communicated the pros and cons of different options to myself the homeowner. At no point was there anyone just standing around. They demonstrated phenomenal attention to detail, tarping the surrounding grounds for complete cleanup.
They took great care of my property, landscaping, etc throughout. The jobsite was neat and clean at the end of each day and immaculate at job completion. If you want a job well done, on budget and on time, H & L Roofing is the company for you!

After getting multiple quotes, some of which were people using high pressure sales. H&L Roofing was refreshing in that they looked at the roof, emailed a quote, and answered all of my questions. It was an excellent price, everyone has been so professional, and I am so happy with the job that they did. 100 percent would hire them again and highly recommend them to others. I hired H&L Roofing for a new roof installation. They gave a competitive quote and they offer military discounts. The roof is great looking and so far is holding up to the windy weather we've been having. I'll update this review in the summer after the roof has really been put to the test through the winter.

The only problem I had during this project was communication related about project scope and miscommunications between staff about what was actually in the contract so the roof installers had to return later in the week to finish a few things.

They didn't offer me any choices in material type or color. I'm not sure if they offer multiple choices or not. It would have been nice to see some options. However it is understandable if they are trying to keep costs low by limiting the different types of material choices.

There was a minor amount of debris left over on the ground. But such things happen when tearing off a roof with hundreds of rusty nails. Just make sure you double check everything before letting kids play in your yard again.

Spray off your driveway before parking your car or even walking on it. The magnet sweep they use works 95% of the time except it missed a couple of nails and one of the rusty nails ended up in my foot.
