This time last year, early September, I contacted Andre at Portland Marble about a big, custom kitchen island for my daughters remodel. From start to finish, from selected a slab of quartz, thru templating of the island to a flawless installation, Portland Marble has been timely, responsive and professional. Andre was a star! In May, I reached out to Maggie at Portland Marble about a small custom project using Blue Pearl Granite and White Carrera Marble. From beginning to end, ( the custom piece was delivered today) Maggie and her team performed above and beyond. My wife and my family could not be any more pleased! Thank You to Maggie and Curtis for your creativity, quality craftsmanship and customer service. John Collette, Warren Oregon USA

This was the first job I have used PMW but worked with Carol on several jobs with her previous company. All of the work has been excellent. On this most recent job, they were responsive to measure and quote, help with selecting material, scheduling and adhering to that schedule. I received quotes from two other reputable companies which proved the competitive price quoted by PMW. As a retired builder for nearly 40 years, I was always hesitant to make sub-contractor recommendations. As for PMW, I would not hesitate to recommend them.

Fritz Junker Design & Remodeling: As a design/build contractor specializing in high-rise condominium remodeling, for 10 years I have worked exclusively with Portland Marble Works as my solid surface fabricator/installer. There is not a more competent, responsive, and skilled fabricator in the area, and I use no one else. I have dreamt up countless design challenges over the years, and each time, their team has met those challenges and exceeded my expectations, delivering impeccable, stunning installations. That kind of subcontractor performance is rare in the construction trades these days.

The ONLY reason I can give 2 stars is because, to Infinity's credit, they did generally work with us to address and cover the issues they caused. However, the insane number of issues we encountered with them and the quality of the workers, coupled with complete lack of communication is what caused this review. Here's a few of the issues:

1. First installer told us they cut the countertops wrong, and they did - the edges were too short on the ends of the island, and he said the entire job was botched. In reality, he overreacted a bit, and we ended up being ok here.
2. After VERY carefully instructing them the positioning of the quartz, they cut and installed it backwards, making the quartz grain go in the complete wrong direction.
3. During this botched install, they also completely ignored the fact that we had an underneath oven going in, and cut the top whole wrong, so it didn't fit. Their answer? Blame our general contractor, tell us they'd "never once installed an island with our configuration" - drop in cooktop, underneath oven and range - standard setup by the way, and straight from the owner Paul - it wasn't their job to pay attention to all the appliance cutouts, only the downdraft and cooktop.
4. After taking ownership for the problem, they reordered it - every single time I called, I would be assured we were on schedule, the pieces were on hand, etc...I would call back the morning of my SCHEDULED install, and they would tell me the counters hadn't even arrived yet. This happened at least twice. The communication was some of the worst I've experienced.
5. During the SECOND install, the installers damaged at least 6 cabinets in the kitchen - looked like they had carelessly used crowbars on our brand new cabinets to lift them off. To their credit they covered the replacement door costs, but added 2 more weeks to the schedule.

Dealing with this company was a nightmare almost from the start - we were attracted by slightly lower prices than competitors. In the end, we would never ever choose Infinity again. I will say they have good products, take responsbility for their issues, but the overall quality of the installers and the complete lack of proper communication is a non-starter for me.

Over te past 15 years, Infinity Countertops has provided the countertops for me for 7 bathrooms, 4 kitchens and 2 custom dining tables. Carol and Paul are great to work with. The bid process is smooth and you quickly know how much your project will cost. Carol is great at asking probing questions to help you understand the pros and cons of various stone materials, and also to help you determine what sort of edge will be best for your project. The scheduling goes smoothly, and they clearly communicate if the planned install dates need to change. They also work hard to accommodate changes caused by other sub-contractors that can delay counter installation and force everyone to reschedule. All of Infinity Countertops installers have been very courteous and professional. They take pride in their work and try to get it right the first time! On the one occasion where I had post-install backsplash slippage Carol dispatched a crew quickly to fix it. I have been delighted with the service and craftsmanship provided by Infinity Countertops and I highly recommend them to anyone considering kitchen or bathroom improvements that will truly make a beautiful impact on the usability of your space.

We have choosen Infinity Countertops to work with on a couple remodel/upgrade projects. We had a few local bids and the prices did not compare to what Infinity Countertops offered. They have done a beautiful job and went above and beyond the job description when we had a couple issues come up on our end that interfered with our initial install plans. We have been very pleased with their communication and hard work and the finished product!

Love my granite countertops that Infinity installed in my house. Just Bob did a great measuring my counters and gave me some good options on what to do with a few odd places. The installers Matthieu and Zach did great work and took extra care with with keeping the dust down and protecting the rest of my house from damage. Will be calling them back to do the vanity and fireplace soon.

This is in response to the owner's response to my wife's review. The owner is wrong in saying the installers didn't use any tools as you can see in the attached pictures. Yes my wife was happy when the installers left as they did a small repair on another counter that was installed by infinity a few years ago. They did not however tell her about the damage on the back side of a brand new cabinet door. They still deny it to this day. The damage was repaired "good enough".
The cabinet top was cut out too big on the back side and the piece that was cut out had to be put back on the bottom side of the cabinet top with two screws. Now the back of the sink is being held up by just two screws and one clip that is barley on the sink lip.
The pictures also show the front of the cabinet top as being poorly cut with a jig saw. It was also routered to 1/4 of an inch thick to hold the front of the sink under counter. So now I have a utility sink supported in the back by two screw and the front supported by 1/4 inch plywood. Not only that but the sink was not square with the cut out in the counter top. I was afraid the sink might not be able to hold a bucket of water!
Luckily they have a guy named Kevin who fixes these botched installs. He fixed it to my satisfaction although it never should have come to that.
