I have known Ed Christensen since 1998. As Administrative Pastor for Rolling Hills Community Church (RHCC) and owner’s representative for the design and construction of our 135,000-sf building expansion in 2003-5, I worked with Welkin Engineering and Ed Christensen on our facilities design and modifications for many years. Welkin’s design dealt with most of RHCC’s 37-acre site and Ed Christensen was the Civil Engineering Project Manager. The design included parking and access as well as all sewage, water, and storm drainage issues. It was particularly difficult, because we do not have public sewer, water, or storm drainage. His analysis, design, and work with DEQ for our septic system saved us hundreds of thousands of dollars alone. The state of Oregon DEQ wanted us to install a 9,000-foot addition to our septic system. Ed was able to get our existing 4,200-foot system approved for use without any expansion. I highly recommend Ed Christensen and Welkin Engineering.

I have known Ed Christensen for decades. Ed has a keen appreciation for coordinating developments. He created Welkin to integrate planning, engineering, surveying and construction management services, which has been invaluable to me over the years.
