Please do yourself a big favor and look elsewhere for a moving company. I engaged this company to move the contents of essentially a one-bedroom apartment from the Philadelphia area to Michigan. The first cautionary note is that this branch uses software that deletes all links after a couple of weeks so unless you print off everything, you will have no record of original estimates, any amendments and subsequent adjustments, etc. Second, even though their name is of course Two Men and a Truck, on the delivery end they provided only one man and actually had the nerve to claim, when I called, that long distance moves are based on weight and distance, not the number of workers or amount of time it takes to unload. Now a word about the one man. His name is Galveston and he was absolutely fantastic. And for what it’s worth, although he was clearly frustrated, he did not say a discouraging word - about doing double the work, about his incompetent employer who clearly doesn’t value his people, or anything else. Instead, G just worked as hard as he could, without a break and without complaint. The job, as could be expected, took twice as long, causing me to miss two important meetings at work this afternoon because the franchise had bid the job as if they’re were two people unloading, hence underestimating the amount of time when they gave me the delivery window and schedule. Last, when I asked for some discount for the time I wasted due to their lack of planning, they grudgingly - and only after I refused to sign the form and four phone calls to their office - knocked $200 off a more than $7,000 total bill. This franchise gives Two Men (or in this case One Man) and a Truck a bad name. I really feel sorry for Galveston. Alert to other capable moving companies, grab Galveston. He’s a gem.

**Absolutely Appalling Service - Avoid at All Costs!**

I had the absolute misfortune of hiring Two Men and a Truck for my recent move, and I cannot stress enough how dreadful the experience was. They initially quoted me a price but then tried to change it after loading some of my stuff. When I refused to sign, stating I didn’t want to pay more than the original quote, they left 1/3 -1/2 of my belongings behind in the storage unit.

As if that wasn't bad enough, they completely trashed my storage unit in the process. Several of my items were broken, and the overall handling of my possessions was nothing short of careless and unprofessional. The movers showed a complete lack of respect for my property, and the attitude shown by upper management (spoke with the manager, district manager and regional manager) was dismissive and rude when I tried to address these issues.

I regret every penny spent on this abysmal service and urge anyone considering Two Men and a Truck to look elsewhere. This company is a disgrace to the moving industry and deserves zero or negative stars for their shoddy work and unprofessional behavior. Save yourself the headache and avoid this company at all costs!

Absolutely terrible in every way. From the top down these guys suck! Their boss and the movers should find another line of work and I hope their lives are filled with inconveniences for eternity.

We hired them to pack and move our stuff. We paid for 8 hours and extra boxes. They ran around like chickens with their heads cut off putting as much stuff in the most unorganized way possible in the biggest boxes possible. They didn't have a marker to write what or where each box was supposed to go.

Every box I open to unpack is a mystery and every box has multiple broken items.

They put unwrapped picture frames on top of folders and tools, so glass is broken and frames are scratched. Also there were pillows and stuffed animals on top of open art supplies so now collectable and sentimental items are covered in chalk, pencil and pens.

My bedsheets and pillows were in multiple boxes even though before they were packed they were in one spot. So why are they now in multiple boxes? I have to unpack everything on the same day just to sleep or even wash anything.

They dropped the fragile boxes and then stacked them on top of each other even though their boss already told them not to do that.

These guys have zero sense and care more about making a quick buck. They cut corners with everything. No bubble wrap, no paper wrap, no protection. Screens for the TV and computer just left on top and exposed. Furniture stuffed to the brim with misc items and broken while being moved because they are using them as moving containers.

We spoke to them as they were packing to have them fix these issues and they didn't change how they worked at all. We gave them a pen when we noticed they didn't have one to label and the labels they wrote just said "room1" ??? We spoke to their boss who sided with his workers that they were doing it "the right way" but they aren't.

I've moved many times in my life and I've used this company before to move though it was a different state. In the past they were excellent, however the Allentown team needs to be fired and a whole new team needs to be brought in. These guys are complete clowns.

If you want all your stuff to be treated like garbage, broken and unorganized then go ahead with this joke of a company.
