It has been over a year since the Mother Hubbard Team remodeled our kitchen into our DREAM KITCHEN. We love it more each day. Having lived with the original kitchen that we built for 22 years, we had developed a clear idea of the transformation we wanted. It involved moving 2 of the walls and considerable construction. Mother HUBBARD made all that happen.

The Lighting, the cabinetry and all design elements created function, beauty, and style that elevated the entire first floor of our home and exceeded the dream and vision we had in mind.

A few months have passed, and we are still pinching ourselves over the way John, and the team at Mother Hubbard’s Custom Cabinetry, turned our dreams into reality.

The scope of our project was fairly large (a complete kitchen and bathroom remodel, and the addition of a bar area) and it required a ton of decisions; decisions that we definitely could not have made on our own!! But thanks to John’s expertise and guidance, we got everything we wanted … and MORE! The end resulted in three beautiful, timeless, functional, organized, and creative spaces that we love to be in!

It’s important to mention that the entire team at Mother Hubbard’s was great to work with! While we primarily worked our designer, John, and Martin, Carpenter/Installer extraordinaire, we found every member of their team to be friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. The best version of what was already here. This was John’s task when we first talked to him about one floor living.
He was tasked with creating a beautiful kitchen, building an island that could support the open floor plan, make a plan for lighting both of these large areas and to work within our budget by incorporating our current appliances.
Space for the island and the space around island was a big success! Sourcing a budget friendly quartz was another success story. Tranquil and calm colors was another win!

Coming in as a DIY'er, I was primarily looking to get some products to finish the bathroom I was renovating. Their designers were able to help me with getting some cabinetry, counter top, and sink for an affordable price. The designers had a lot of great ideas to share, but the one I liked most was the idea of adding drawers to the cabinet for increased storage. Plus having a custom made cabinet meant I could have the drawers sized to compensate for the sink drain in the wall. The cabinetry is much higher in quality than what you usually find in the big orange or blue box stores. I was pleased with their willingness to work with me even though they usually do complete renovations. Attached are before and after pictures (and my cat who loves the sink).
