7/10/24 Mason was the electrician who came to my house to work. Mason was exceptional. He was extremely polite, professional, listened to me with genuine interest and offered a lot of very useful feedback. Mason is a very unique service person because he did not try to find things just to add unnecessary costs. I felt Mason was trying to consider my budget while providing the best quality. In addition, upon my initial call BG Electrician services were fair with the service fee. I fell this company is reliable and their attention to the customer is outstanding and exceeds most electricians, contractors, plumbers, etc I have had. I would highly recommend BG.

BG Electric did a fantastic job running new electric lines for our washer and dryer hookups. I had to reschedule multiple times due to plumbing issues and they were so understanding. Every time I called they answered within 2-3 rings. They came and were so friendly and knowledgeable and efficient. I will definitely work with them in the future. I have worked with many electricians in the past and they are by far the best service I have received.

The reason I am not giving BG Electric a 1-star rating is because Mason arrived at my house very quickly once I called in. I had an emulsifier that overheated and tripped my breaker, causing all the lights in my house to start flickering. Mason immediately suspected a voltage issue, even though every breaker in my electrical panel showed stable voltage, per his check. He believed the problem lay with my PECO box outside and insisted that PECO needed to address it, leaving me in my flickering house with his diagnosis in under 10 minutes. PECO came to my house the next day and confirmed that there was nothing wrong with the voltage on their end, suggesting the issue might be with the electrical box inside my home. This made sense, as if Mason was reading stable voltages further downstream, how could there be instability upstream? Instead of returning to BG Electric, for which I was on the hook for their emergency electric fee, I opted for a different electrician. I am grateful I chose a different electrician rather than BG Electric a second time, as the only issue was a few loose breaker connections, which the second electrician promptly addressed and remarked, "anyone with a basic knowledge of electrical work should have been able to solve this issue easily." Though BG Electric may have had success stories with others, I was unfortunate in my experience, having to pay over $500 between the two electricians and enduring a runaround for what should have been a simple fix the first time Mason arrived with a screwdriver.

First time using this Company - Im very impressed with the whole process it was made easy and worry free. Estimator came out and I inquired about few different options of what to do and Mason gave suggestions to try and help me save $$ instead of doing a bunch of work arounds.

I called back a few days later. Ben & Mason came out to house added recessed lighting in the basement. We ran into a problem of extra junction boxes and Ventilation blocking where we where originally going to put recessed in Dining Room. I decided to add a few more light and drop them down to 4” over the next couple days they go the new equipment came back and and patched everything up nicely!!

Thank you BG Electic & thank you Ben and Mason. You guys are true artist in your field.

Being a homeowner is not easy. You get the keys to your new home and think you can just move in and live happily ever after. But that’s not always the case. You have to be ready for the unexpected, especially when it comes to electrical work.

That’s where Mason and his partner come in. They are amazing! They turned our spaghetti-rush-and-sell-the-property panel into something that is safe for my family. When I first called BG Electric, I didn’t know how to explain what was wrong. All I knew was that the lights were flickering and we couldn’t use anything that uses power.

Mason arrived in less than an hour and was so knowledgeable about the problem. He assured me and my husband that he could fix it. After they completed the job, we regrouped and touched base on how the electrical work should have been completed.
